A splendid hotel, its location is perfect. The rooms are very clean, and comfortable. Breakfast is excellent, complete. From fruits, to sausages and cold cuts. He lacked nothing. Next time I'm in Buenos Aires, I'm going to stay here again.

Modern highrise hotel in a great location -- across from Plaza San Martin and a 5 minute walk from Florida Street pedestrian mall with multiple stores and restaurants. Large room with lots of floor space. Queen bed, desk, safe minibar, large HDTV and free breakfast. Breakfast buffet was great with lots of hot & cold items. Also, had a light dinner in Lobby Bar one night -- prosciutto & camembert sandwich & fries -- was okay.

The ride from the airport was crazy. Two locations, that had armed guard checkpoints that were aggressively enforcing the curfew. No joking around. No permit to travel, you go to jail. Reached hotel and upon check in they told us go directly to your rooms and stay there. If caught wondering around they can’t guarantee enforcement action would not be taken. Rooms are standard. Room service was prompt. Food was ok. Would have liked to get out of hotel to explore a bit but it’s crazy times we are experiencing for sure.

The hotel is centrally located in Buenos Aires and there was a nice view of the city from the room. Front desk staff was very helpful. Concierge was just so-so. The room was okay although the thermostat was locked so it couldn't be adjusted as we would have liked. The toilet was very difficult to flush...so much so that we called maintenance because we thought it was broken. It wasn't broken...just very difficult. Those with dexterity issues with the hands would probably need to change rooms in this situation.

We had two days in Buenos Aires before departing on a cruise. We booked Sheraton Buenos Aires because we knew the Sheraton name, the rate was competitive and, most importantly, because of the hotel's location: across the street from some nice parks, walkable to Plaza de Mayo (we took a taxi) and a five-minute taxi ride to the cruise port. The lobby area and restaurant (see Buono Italian Kitchen review) were quite nice. The room showed its age (little things like a cold water faucet that needed to be turned and turned and turned before it would spout water). Taxis were always available in a line outside the hotel entrance, and the concierge said it was OK to use them. (We chose taxis that clearly were from a large company rather than an independent operator.) We took a taxi to Plaza de Mayo, giving the driver our change as a tip. We walked back to the hotel rather than jump in a random taxi. Tired from our international flight, we spent an afternoon across the street from the hotel, walking around Torre Monumental and Plaza San Martin, which I will review separately.
