We arrived early from a cruise ship, our room was not ready, we asked how long it might be before we could get in and were told that it would be ready when it was ready --( just like forty two other people who had arrived early, this is normal as passengers are always put of cruise ships early in...

We stayed at the Feirs Park Hotel for only one night unfortunately post cruise, we found it very comfortable, we had a suite which was very large, but did find that there was nothing complimentary in the room, everything was chargeable, even water and coffee. We arrived at the hotel very early, so the room wasn't ready, but we sat...

Conveniently located. 5 mins from st martins palace. Get the hotel to sort out taxi for you, we were ripped off. Anyway, the hotel itself. Amazingly big room, felt luxurious! Dining table and chairs, king bed, amble wardrobe and drawers. Ate at restaurant 2 nights. Perfectly fine food and lovely staff waiting on. Reception staff so helpful. Everything was done...

This is definitely not a 5 star hotel, however, it does represent good value for money. The restaurant food is simple and rather restricted in choice but is of a decent standard. The rooms are large and have balconies, albeit, there was not much of a view from 1104 in which we stayed for two nights prior to embarkation on a...

I express my un-convenience to stay there through Expedia staff at least two days before. Normally Expedia staff can convince hotel to understand the situation even originally it's non-refundable, but they failed this time. Besides, I even took efforts (across half BA city distance) and in-person explain my situation at Feir's hotel front desk, but reception staff didn't have any...

We stayed in Feir's Park before departing on a cruise. The rooms are comfortable, large and very clean. The furniture is dated and some repair work could be done especially in the bathroom. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast wasn't great but adequate. Location is good on a quiet street with plenty of taxis going by. I would stay...

Pros: 1. Huge room 2. Our room had a beautiful balcony, albeit no views. 3. Breakfast available but not great, mostly carbs. The sausage and bacon was horrible and the eggs had no salt. Try the poppy seed cake though, that was good. Cons: 1. Shoddy construction in the room, the floors creaked near the bathroom - no counter space...

This hotel is listed as 5 stars, but we were sorely disappointed overall. The rooms are large, the bathroom minuscule, and the air conditioner noisy. Hallways and rooms all need updating and remodeling; carpets, wallpaper, etc... Our room smelled strongly of cigarette smoke . The bed was comfortable, but the room is shaped in such a way that we had to...

Although room 303 had no view at all to speak of (concrete wall and balcony of another building), this is a perfect hotel to base yourself in for its convenient and quality position, cleanliness and service.

Staying in Retiro

Neighbourhood Profile
Retiro
Exquisite palaces and luxurious apartment buildings combine with art galleries and exclusive boutiques to make Retiro the perfect spot for those who enjoy sophistication. However, the non-stop foot traffic to and from Retiro train and bus terminals, accompanied by the myriad of trucks leaving and arriving at the port, mean this neighbourhood is never truly at rest. One minute you are walking down a street dotted with ornate mansions and luxurious shop windows and the next you find yourself surrounded by a sea of people racing to catch their train or bus. It is this juxtaposition of never-ending comings and goings and quiet, elegant luxury that defines Retiro, as well as Buenos Aires, a city where sharp contrasts are all around.
