The hotel is very clean. Great location close to many eateries and parks. The staff was very helpfull with walking directions and planning tours. The room was a little small but comfortable. The breakfast was great especially the croisants (best I ever had). I would go back in a heart beat.

The hotel is located on the edge of Recolletta, near shops, restaurants, a nice square, and minutes away from even more cool stuff. Banks, cafes, and more are a short walk away in a nice neighborhood. We stayed ehre 5 nights and it was a good central location. The hotel has a small restaurant and bar and serves an included...

I have been there for one week, for an international meeting. The organisers recommended this hotel (together with some other ones in the vicinity). Based on Tripadvisor and also Booking.com reviews, I preffered this 3* hotel to some other 4* rated hotels (where my colleagues were not so happy with, but I will not tell the names). Good check-in to...

I highly recommend Hotel Bel Air in Buenos Aires. Very well located, in a beautiful and safe zone. Near restaurants and stores and walking distance from many interesting places. Good value for money. Kind personnel in the front desk. I will visit this hotel again!

The Hotel Bel Air worked perfectly for us and our extended family, 5 adults and two teenagers, for a one-week stay. The free breakfast was excellent; the front desk staff was very helpful; our hotel-arranged transfers to and from the airport were seamless; the room staff were quick and efficient when we blew a fuse with an iron. The lobby...

We spent a couple of nights in the Hotel Bel Air in Ricoleta and were very pleased. The room was large and very quiet. The breakfast was good although did not have quite as large a selection as some of the other hotels we stayed in South America did. The location can't be beat, as the neighborhood is primarily residential,...

Staff was very helpful, found a room for us early in the morning after we had flown all night and went above and beyond to go on the internet and get information for us when we asked a question. Location is excellent and rooms are not fancy but comfortable and clean. Breakfast was also excellent, and the price was a...

Stayed here while on vacation recently, and has been described below the rooms are simply furnished yet comfortable, with good closet space. I found the bed to be comfortable and because the room was an interior room there was no street noise to speak of. Breakfast offered a full range of options of pastries including the requisite medialunas, fruit, eggs,...

Old hotel in very nice area. On arrival the reception staff greeted me warmly. After a long trip from California it was good to feel welcomed. As has been mentioned "excellent / price ratio for the hotel. I will say Lorena, Magdelina, and Guido were excellent. Manner, knowledge and helpfulness. The room was well organi. King bed, writing desk. Closet...

Staying in Recoleta

Neighbourhood Profile
Characterised by the French-style mansions which are the legacy of its aristocratic past, Recoleta is the true “Paris of the South.” Walking around this neighbourhood is an experience like no other in Buenos Aires: its streets are lined with elegant apartment buildings, exclusive boutiques, and former mansions turned into high-end hotels and embassies, which exude an alluring air of sophistication and class. You'll also find a rich cultural scene centred on the National Museum of Fine Arts, the National Library, and the Recoleta Cultural Center; as well as some great shopping spots, like the Buenos Aires Design Mall with an artists' fair set up in Plaza Francia every weekend.
