I stayed at the hotel for 2 nights on business. The location in Belgrano area was good (and safe), althogh it's 30 minutes from the center by subte. The staff was friendly, but as I entered the room I saw the old fashioned furnitures (feels like I'm back in the '80), the matteress was so old, the hand towel was...

I can't find where to begin... Old Furniture, a mattress that seemed to have like a 100 years old, mold on the shower walls, a rally loud air conditioner outside the window, the elevator took a long time to get to the higher floors, dirty sheets on the stairs floor, the maid getting into the room whithout even knocking the...

I requested from the agency to reserve an "apart hotel" close to the place where I was scheduled to work during my last visit to Buenos Aires. I stayed (as a matter of fact I'm still here) at the Cabildo Suites for 8 days.... the worst 8 nights ever. To start with their definition of "apart" hotel is apparently very...

I stayed in Apart Hotel Cabildo on several occassions. Why? Because I love Belgrano neighboorhood. It is a busy neighborhood. The subway is just one block. The price is very good indeed! Although I had to go to the reception and complained about the curtain of the bathroom, they went and changed it. The internet did not work well and...

Positives: The hotel is in an excellent location. My room faced the back street, so it was quiet. Negatives: The cleaning staff has the habit of piling the used linen (large piles) on the emergency stairs, effectively blocking the exits in case of fire or any other emergency. This was the case every day I was there, and the piles...

My wife and I were booked in for two weeks because of medical tourism. We found the rooms spacious and clean. (Sheets changed every day) The staff was friendly, extremely courteous and helpful. The breakfast was plentiful and the dining room overlooking Cabildo Avenida was clean and available all day. We found the hotel location convenient to walk to the...

The hotel is not at all like the pictures on their website. They claim to be a 4 star hotel; they're not even close-- I'd be hard pressed to give it 1 star. It's on a very busy and noisy street. The carpets and draperies were old and dirty and the rooms were very dark. As soon as I saw...

Staying in Belgrano

Neighbourhood Profile
As one of the main commercial hubs of Buenos Aires, Belgrano has something for everyone. The myriad of shop windows in Cabildo Ave. will draw you in, but it is Chinatown — an area of no more than two square blocks — which will keep you hooked. Crowned by an ornate arch marking its entrance and filled with small stores packed to the brim, it is a place where colour and scent emanate from every corner, particularly during the Chinese New Year when they spill over to surrounding areas. But if you prefer a quieter atmosphere, the residential quarter of Belgrano is the perfect destination. This section of town features some of the most magnificent mansions in the city, spread out on cobbled streets lined by tall, majestic trees: a true feast for the eyes.
