This is not an easy review for me, let me tell you my experience. I've came from 3 weeks travelling all around Argentina staying in many many different kind of hotels and hostels, from budget to more expensive and so on, all booked on booking.com Our last stop before going back to Europe was Buenos Aires where we've stayed already...

We felt so welcome and comfortable in Malabia House: super nice staff, well appointed rooms in fantastic historical old house in Palermo, and wonderful breakfast in the lovely garden (great crepes with dulce de leche, Maria!). What else we can say, we'll be back for sure when in Buenos Aires, thanks!!!

The location of this hotel is perfect. The room left something to be desired. The double bed was just 2 twins pushed together. Not really comfortable, but not terrible. Because this is a unique botique hotel, the room we were in was most likely not the best of the bunch. The bathroom was the size of a closed and the...

Perfect spot to explore Palermo, especially with our front room with the balcony! Breakfast included in the morning with a very kind staff, including delicious homemade crepes with dulce de leche! As a note, bathrooms are separate from the rooms but easy and clean. Made our trip to Buenos Aires feel very special and authentic, as if we were apart...

The front room was light and roomy. Even with the bathroom down the hall, this was an excellent room. We lingered at breakfast for several hours with another couple without feeling pressured to leave. The staff was attentive and helpful and accommodated all of our requests.

I spent 4 nights at Malabia - it fits my preference for small boutique hotels that tell me I am in another country - and be safe, clean, comfortable. Bruno and Cecelia were friendly and helpful with arrangements and taxis. The young woman who was on duty for my late arrival and on the morning of my departure was neither...

An old building, very well preserved and with nice decoration. Spacious rooms, with all the comforts, very helpful personnel and quite close to many restaurants, cafe, bars in the Palermo area. Quite safe area too.

It´s an oasis in a noisy and busy city. Owner and service staff are extremely friendly and breakfast is a happening together on a table with the other guests. Rooms are a little bit dark but perfect to relax from the hot streets in summer. Bathrooms small and should be maintained and painted a little bit better. I´ll come back!

Staying in Palermo

Neighbourhood Profile
Palermo
Best known as the largest neighbourhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favourite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.
