I stayed in a room on the ground floor. The room was nice and in a very good condition. The bathroom was across the corridor, basic and small - everything was working but it was one of those bathrooms that you wouldn't hesitate to associate with a hostel. Noise isolation was poor as some already mentioned in their reviews. Good...

I was disappointed with my stay at Malabia 1555. The room was dark and smelt wet and musty. The bathroom was tiny....the toilet tucked behind the door and once inside there almost wasn't space to close the bathroom door( not that mine could close anyway as the door didn't fit the frame). The shower was a very small cube no...

Everything was fine, specially the managing people. The building is really interesting and the charming atmosphere is a special attraction. The hotel is placed in the heart of Palermo and close to restaurants and cafes.

I really really enjoyed my stay here. The location in Palermo is very central and safe- right in the middle of all the trendy restaurants and stores. The setting in the old convent feels really special and is very beautiful!! My room was on the first floor right close to the dining room and common space. I could definitely hear...

The hotel is in a nice neighborhood at a converted convent. We were originally given a room upstairs that had an adjoining bathroom (we knew this when we booked). What we didn't know was that this adjoining bathroom is not exactly next door to the room (as we thought it might be ). It's actually down the hall from the...

Excelent hotel in Buenos Aires. It is a historical building. We have stayed in a modern room, which was confortable and clean. The bathroom could be bigger. The breakfast is good and the staff has received us very well. Well located. Malabia is in Palermo Soho, very close to pubs, restaurants and stores.

I thoroughly enjoyed my week at Malabia House. The hotel is within a former convent that has been converted into a beautiful little hotel. The location is ideal for exploring Buenos Aires, and it surrounded by restaurant cafes. Easy access of metro for full access of the city. Rooms are well equipped combining traditional old building with contemporary interior. Staff...

We stayed here for one night as a bit of a treat on our travels. The hotel is in a fabulous location right by loads of great shops and restaurants. Staying in Palermo

Neighbourhood Profile
Palermo
Best known as the largest neighbourhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favourite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.
