Neighbourhood
Puerto Madero
From its refurbished red brick buildings and port cranes to its modern skyscrapers and luxurious apartment buildings, Puerto Madero is the perfect combination of old and new. The river provides a quiet, relaxing atmosphere that contrasts with the hustle and bustle of heavy traffic just blocks away. Across the river, flanked by skyscrapers, are beautiful parks and quiet streets that make this neighbourhood a unique destination in a city as busy as Buenos Aires. The restaurants, bars, and nightclubs on the docks make it a prime spot for nights out and have come to symbolise this area. Puerto Madero is even more striking after dark, when the lights from the docks and skyscrapers glow against the night sky.

Hotel is well located but is old and rooms need major renovations to compete with newer hotels. Restaurant is good. Staff is average and do not go out of their way to help. Room had a great walk-in closet.

it was a very clean, well run hotel, the food was excellent, the staff was great & we enjoyed our stay. There are also things to see within a short walk from the hotel, as well as some local restaurants that were terrific. We'd stay here again.

The Hilton is a modern hotel in a wonderful location. One if he few places that is quiet and no traffic where the rooms are. Good to sip wine and have a quick snack in the lobby. For food there is a multitude of excellent restaurants within five minutes walking.

This hotel is slightly worn, in need of up grades. Upper floors are very hot, as the A/C's are turned off. The rooms A/C' s work once your room key is placed in sensor. This makes the first few minutes unconfronable, inside the room.
