This hotel is in a great location next to the Cemetery and shopping mall and loads of bars & restaurants. Initially had a hiccup with the room but they sorted it swiftly and our suite was clean and comfortable with a lovely view of the cemetery. Very good restaurant and we ate there both nights of our stay. The heated pool in the Winter garden (orangery) was a delight.
A nice hotel in the heart of the Recoleta region. Eveything is very new though the rooms are small. Great hot water and good linens in the room. Excellent breakfast in a very ample open area near the swimming pool. Reception was quick and efficient. Maybe just a little over priced for what they offer, but definitely a very good option.
I had a reservation at the Loi for Jan. 12, 2022, booked through a travel agency, as part of a big fishing trip to Patagonia. On Jan. 11, I tested positive for Covid and had to postpone my trip. The Loi was notified more than 24 hours in advance. I did later stay at the Loi on Jan. 20 and Feb. 5. I later found out the I was charged the full price for one night due to "late cancellation." I requested a refund three times, first through the travel agency, and then twice by email, but have had no response from the hotel. I feel strongly that cancellations due to Covid should be refunded in all cases, and in fact that is the policy of most hotels and airlines. Not the Loi, however. The hotel was otherwise OK, but I am out $200.
This hotel has all you would expect from a big city hotel. Rooms were a good size and serviced by two lifts over the 9 floors. A good range of 'buffet' breakfast food which is kept replenished by the efficient waiting staff. Employees at reception are very helpful, cheerful and happy preforming their duties. Several times we saw them laughing and joking with each other and not to the detriment of the guests who were always attended to. Nice to see people happy at work. One of the best things about this hotel is it's location, a few minutes from Recoleta Cemetery, a large shopping Mall and plenty of local good restaurants and bars.
We stayed one night in room 506 and really enjoyed it. Being 1/2 block from Recoleta Cemetery where Eva Peron is buried (major tourist attraction) we found the convenience to be a high point. Also, there are malls and shops nearby within easy walking distance. Our room had a microwave, fridge, TV, desk and chair, 2 big comfortable sitting chairs (the best I have seen in years), small table, multi-drawer chest, 2 night tables, and 2 bed lamps. The lamps need to be less bright at night, There are hardwood floors, a big closet, safe, a large walk-in shower, marble bathroom, shampoo, conditioner, 1 USB plug for charging with other local plugs close to the bed. Breakfast was excellent and varied. You cannot go wrong staying here!
Very good stay. Perfect location close to Recoleta mall and cemetery. Good price. Very good service. Good restaurant. Modern room but need of electric connections close to the beds! I will come back for sure.
This hotel has everything a very fine hotel should have. The lobby is comfortable and inviting. The staff are pleasant, the property clean and airy. The hotel is close to the cemetery and a wide assortment of eating and drinking choices. It is a half block from major shopping. The hotel is located on a pleasant, tree-lined street in one of the most upscale neighborhoods in Buenos Aires. It is only about 20 minutes to the domestic airport, but nearly an hour to the international airport.
Very close to famous cemetery, money exchange.stores, malls restaurants and markets and festivities. Restaurant not bad ez if your tired clean comfortable pleasant helpful staff. no complaints nice pool and spa
Don't remember ever giving a 5 before but I would give this hotel a 5+; you know you are on a loser when the only thing you can think of to potentially complain about is that the hot water takes more than a second or 2 to come out of your shower; great and plentiful staff; all of whom wish to help; great location; free and fast wireless; good food; great rooms; what more can you ask; from hotels around the World and locally only one comes close and that was in Boston near on twenty years ago and cost 3 times as much; so well done to the hotel and their staff; and if you are coming for a stay in BA; stay here.
Great property located in the Recoleta area. Around the corner from markets, mall, cemetery, restaurants galore. Professional service and care. Breakfast was amazing. Very accommodating staff. Happy to have stayed and will return.
