Nice hotel in the city and also reasonable price. Stay 1 week for Automechanika Argentina. Nearby La Americana Pizza and also the subway station too. Walking distance to Congressa and Uruguay Square too.

The America Plaza is dingy. It is in serious need of a refit. That said, the location is pretty good and the price is reasonable, but don't expect much of a view out your window. Breakfast buffet was okay, but I stayed 5 nights and it got a big monotonous eating the same thing each morning. The quality of the...

We stayed in this hotel only one night in between flights and it was a perfect stop over to manage to spend some hours visiting Recoleta and the centre of town. We were so close that we could walk around easily from the hotel. The hotel is very nice and comfortable. The rooms are very large with simple furniture. The...

We stayed here 3 days. The hotel is much better on the inside than it looks on the outside, when you arrive in the taxi. It is in a side street which looks quite dingy at night. Nevertheless, the location gives easy access to subway and taxis, and well within walking distance of many attractions and nice restaurants. It is...

We stayed 8 nights in late Jan/early Feb. The staff was excellent -- went out of their way to be helpful. The room was more than adequate, plenty of space and quiet (we were on the 8th floor). Would be nice if they invested in some new towels -- a bit worn and not overly white, but serviceable. Missed having...

This hotel came with a package tour and it has a good location, but the hotel rooms are old and the smell of old smoke permiated the carpet, bedding, etc. It was not dirty as in bugs or anything, but the old smoke smell made me feel dirty all day and night.

My wife and I stayed at the Amerian Congreso in early March 05. The rooms are comfortable and to american standard in size and amenities. Nice rooftop pool and breakfast area with good service. The lobby is small and without a lounge a real drawback for tourists. The hotel location is a negative - on a side street in the...
