Stayed here twice on the same trip - 3 nights at the beginning of our trip and the last 5 nights in Argentina. Great location, right on Ave. 9 Julio - 5 minute walk from the Obelisk and almost across the street from Teatro Colon. Easy walking to most places in the city - but if you need/want a taxi to take you instead, they get one for you right to the door very quickly. Front desk staff, very helpful with suggestions of what to visit and how to get there. Lobby restaurant serves the included buffet breakfast (good variety, quickly replenished and tasty). It also has a small bar menu for snacks during the day and a larger menu for dinner (we used all of the above during our stays). Food was excellent and very reasonably priced. Indoor, heated pool, sauna and hot tub was a great way to end a day of walking to visit Buenos Aires. Rooms are starting to show a need for renovating, but would still definitely stay here on a return visit and definitely recommend.…
The location of the hotel is quite good, hotel needs some renew on bathroom (mold everywhere) but the room itself was renewed already. My room was facing the other buildings (pictures attached) so it was not a good view. Breakfast is good, but try to go early because sometimes it is full of people. Housekeeping is alright, but sometimes they forgot to clean the trash bins. Gym is not good, one machine and very very rusty. No maintenance at all. My biggest complain is the laundry service: Clothes came smelling very very bad (smoke smell, like cigarrete). The second time I sent clothes to laundry I added "good smell, not neutral" and it came good. 3rd and 4th time the came smelling very bad again. Not sure if they have a contract with a 3rd party company for laundry, but it worth going after this company to see if they are really washing and drying in a "smoke allowed" zone...…
Clean and comfortable and very convenient. The staff are extremely professional and very polite. The breakfasts were always full of healthy options to eat with fresh fruit a staple. With the hotel centrally located, we could walk to a great many of the city's finest attractions.
This is another one of those hotels that ticks all the boxes, plus more. It represents great value for money even though it is getting a little ‘tired’, but that is not a problem when the rooms are clean, large and comfortable. We stayed twice and had rooms overlooking the 9th De Julio. The location is excellent and the staff not only friendly and helpful but happy to have a laugh and good natured jokes when assisting you with the many questions and enquires. This is one of those hotels where you say to yourself, “ Why spend big money on a 4 to 5 star hotel when you can stay in a place like this and enjoy it ?”
We were overnighting and changing airport in BA and were happy to sray in Pestana. Hotel is nothing special but price to quality ratio was excellent! Breakfast was great and staff helpful and friendly. Rooms were spacious and clean.
