Limehouse is the perfect place to experience Bs As. Is a lovely old house, decorated with colours that show how fresh and homey is the spirit of the hostel. Everyone who works there were really nice and helpfull. The common areas are great, a tv room, a dinner with huge tables and a big kitchen with lots of space and...

We really liked our 3 nights stay in this hostel. What we liked most are the common areas: very spacious, with a huge table, a living room with sofas and tv, a comfortable kitchen. The free breakfast was pretty generous compared to most hostels: two croissants, a bowl of corn flakes with milk, an orange, coffee or tea for each...

We stayed one night at this hostel and it was already too much. At our arrival, the staff asked us to pay 400$Arg, which is 150$Arg more than our reservation on booking.com. This place is very noisy , the mastress is not comfortable at all. The bathroom are very dirty and sometimes don't have any lock... The only positive point...

I really do not have high standards when booking hostels. I am not expecting luxury, but even I have my limits. Ill start with the positives. The location is fantastic with everything you need nearby. It is also very cheap. Breakfast is basic, about on par with most cheap hostels. Now for the not so positives. It's falling apart, I...

Nice hostel, nice atmosphere, nice people, quite clean. Pretty cheap rooms and breakfast included. We stayed up until late talking to everyone, happy-hour 24/7. Nice receptionists and touristic advice :)

Worst hostel I have ever stayed at. We had booked well in advance for 3 of us in a 4 bed mixed dorm, however the owners son decided he wanted to sleep in the room so we had to squish the 3 of us in a tiny run down room on a double bed (after a 40 hour flight), not...

The staff at Limehouse is excellent. However, that's about al they have. There was someone cleaning at all times, but I never felt like it was clean there. The bathrooms were always wet from the showers, and it was hard for me to get comfortable. The breakfast is alright, nothing too fancy. The location is pretty good and you get...

At the time of our stay (4 nights) many guests were there staying long-term, drinking beer all day. When your room is next to reception you have loud music all night since they make party every night. The kitchen and bathrooms are disgusting, breakfast was ok but poor compared what they promise on their website. Only good thing though; staff...

If you are looking for an strategic place to start your trip around Argentina, this is the place, cheap, perfect location( walking distance to the Obelisco, microcentro, San Telmo, Puerto Madero, Congreso, Subte stations and Retiro station), and well you also have the good atmosphere, friendly people! The conditions are good enough, it all depends on the type of traveller...

Staff:This is one of the positives about the hostel, they were all helpful and attentive. Rooms: The room was a great size & there was a radiator present but our room was off the main reception and this meant that it was very noisey as music was played in the bar all night and also because people were smoking in...

Staying in Montserrat

Neighbourhood Profile
Montserrat
As part of the historic quarter of Buenos Aires, Montserrat is defined by the historical events that took place there and the landmarks that have stood the test of time. The Plaza de Mayo is at the center of this connection to history: countless public demonstrations have passed through this square, going back to the May Revolution of 1810. Walking the streets of Montserrat allows us to imagine what Buenos Aires may have looked like in the past: the Cabildo takes us back to the late 16th century, while the Palacio Barolo and the traditional cafés carry us to the early 20th. Nowadays, the neighbourhood is inundated every day by office workers, buses, and taxis; still, the cobblestones, narrow sidewalks, and subway stations from the 1910s remind us that we are surrounded by history everywhere we look.
