We booked a double room for a couple of nights. The hotel is just walking distance (3 minutes) from Plaza de Mayo and to the main walking street Florida. It is perfect ro explore the central city and convenient with several bars, restaurants, money exchanges and convenience stores around. The breakfast is alright with the regular bread, ham slices and some sweets. The rooms are just a bit too small, but clean and comfortable. Would be difficult to move around if 2 people opened their suitcases. The Bathroom is clean but small. The staff were friendly and organised a taxi when we asked. They did not however have an iron or laundry facilities. Overall for the price, the location is excellent and the rooms are clean which make up for the size. Would stay here again.
We booked for double bedroom. The room is quite small but really clean which is good enough. The hotel is located in the heart of the old town, just walking distance to the plaza, around two minutes away. Also very convenient as there are heaps of restaurants around. The staff are polite but needs to smile more. They are very helpful though. The breakfast is not too bad, the usual Argentinian breakfast ( all sorts of bread, butter and Dulce de leche and Coffee and tea). The ambiance is great, quiet and relaxing.
My room was booked by the conference organizer in this hotel. The hotel room was below than average with poor facilities. There was no dustbin in the room, and the shower was terrible due to which I faced a lot of problems. My main concern was that my room was booked from 6 to 13 July 2019. I had a flight on 13 July and had planned to check out on the 13th before afternoon. On the 12th morning before leaving for the conference venue, I had to ask something so I went to reception and I also told them that I will check out tomorrow before afternoon. They said fine at that time. I was living there in a double room and my roommate was leaving on the 12th evening only. Around 1 PM, I started getting messages from my roommate and another friend from the same hotel while I was attending a talk at the conference for telling me that hotel staff had kept my luggage at hotel gate and saying that my room was booked only up 12th. I was very shocked and afraid of. I was really in tension and did not know what do I do. I had a passport in my bag and was worrying what if they lose it in transferring the whole luggage from room to hotel. I immediately went to the conference organizer chairman and told her the issue. After a lot of effort, finally, they gave me another room for one night. they told the organizers that the cost of last night was not paid by the committee. I agree that organizers should have paid all the amount in advance but due to confusion, they could not do in advance. However, it was not ethically right to throw someone luggage at the hotel gate without even informing him. In the worst case, they could have asked for fine but who gave them the right to act like this. It was a terrible experience. I will surely never recommend this hotel to anyone.…
The hotel is closed to the center of Buenos Aires. Casa Rosada, 25 of May monument, Galerias Pacifico (for shopping) and many places for drinking of eating. That is big advantage of the hotel. The place is not bad, it is just ok. People answer your questions but i would not say they are friendly. For the check out, which is at 12m. They locked the door before, so when we get back (15min before 12) we could not get into the room. I had to talked to them, and they unlocked the room. Just annoying.
Small well situated hotel. Rooms small ,clean but adequate including bathroom. Modest but satisfactory breakfast. Staff friendly, accommodating and English speaking. Florida walking street near one way and San Elmo the other. I can afford more expensive, but very happy with this hotel.
