We recently returned for 8 nights to one of our favorite Hyatt properties--the Park Hyatt Buenos Aires. We can't stop raving about the excellent service we always receive. Upon arrival in our room we were greeted by a gorgeous floral display especially arranged for us by Paula the manager of housekeeping. The restaurant staff bends to our every need and...

I used my Hyatt Diamond suite upgrade certificates for 2 nights. This hotel has a great location and the staff was good. Do try to have breakfast outside on their patio. It's a very quite peaceful location surrouded my trickling water and lush and manicured landscaping. The hotel has 3 bicycles to loan out to go exploring. They loaded me...

During a brief business trip that included many cities/countries in South America, the stay at this hotel was easily the highlight. The rooms are expansive, with large, well appointed closets and multiple room bathrooms. I had a jetted tub, a separate rainshower, a large dressing room with double vanity, and a private room with a bidet as well as the...

Our group of 6 stayed at the Park Hyatt for four nights last week and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The hotel extended my diamond benefits to the whole party so we enjoyed upgraded rooms and complimentary breakfast. We all were conveniently co-located on the top floor of the new building. The Park suite room was spacious and had excellent views...

This is an outstanding hotel, the best we have ever stayed in. The buildings are absolutely gorgeous with interesting nooks and crannies to explore and fabulous gardens and terraces in which to dine. The rooms are extremely comfortable and the bathrooms beautifully fitted out. The stars of the show are the young staff, particularly those in the dining rooms. The...

I'm sure that this is the first time that I've ever stayed in a 5-star hotel; and, I had really high expectations. All of the staff were wonderfully helpful. Our room was clean. The bathroom was amazing! And, of course, it is in a wonderful neighborhood walking distance to Plaza Francia. My rating of 3-stars is for all the little...

I have always loved Hyatt hotels. But this Park Hyatt, surpassed all of our expectations. It is a beautiful spot, with lovely grounds comfortable rooms and a staff that is exceptional. They catered to our every need from sending up a bottle of wine and the most scrumptious Macaroon cake to helping with my mom when we needed to take...

This hotel is as beautiful as it looks. The rooms are extremely modern, large, and beautiful. It is also located on a very "posh" street in the middle of a great neighborhood in the city. We walked around at night and always felt safe. It is close to the famous cemetery and many other tourist locations. I have two reasons...

Spent three night with my family recently. The hotel is incredible. One major flaw is that every night we were at the hotel at least one of the restaurants were closed for private events. We found this to be super annoying and wish the hotel wasn't so greedy in selling out the facilities at the expense at paying guests.

Staying in Recoleta

Neighbourhood Profile
Recoleta
Characterised by the French-style mansions which are the legacy of its aristocratic past, Recoleta is the true “Paris of the South.” Walking around this neighbourhood is an experience like no other in Buenos Aires: its streets are lined with elegant apartment buildings, exclusive boutiques, and former mansions turned into high-end hotels and embassies, which exude an alluring air of sophistication and class. You'll also find a rich cultural scene centred on the National Museum of Fine Arts, the National Library, and the Recoleta Cultural Center; as well as some great shopping spots, like the Buenos Aires Design Mall with an artists' fair set up in Plaza Francia every weekend.
