#7 of 293 B&Bs / Inns in Buenos Aires
Stylish B&B in the heart of Palermo Viejo/Soho. The house is located in a 1901 building, traditional of those days in Buenos Aires neighborhoods. The Casa Chorizo has been renewed keeping its original style. High ceilings, brick and thick walls are one of the details to mention. As a narrow landmark the rooms are organized in a row, facing the side patio/garden full of green where hanging out after a long day is a must. All the rooms have private en-suite bathroom and two of them are big enough with a double level to accommodate more than two people, perfect for 3 or 4. The art work of different artists is found everywhere in the property which gives it a Bohemian atmosphere. The decor is simple, where each item was found in flea markets and auctions to make the B&B a warm and a perfect place to feel at home away of home.

This is an excellent B & B if you are looking for a true neighbourhood experience in Palermo. The rooms are clean, beds are comfortable, it’s private and you are close to great local restaurants. Your host, Ariel, makes you feel at home and he enjoys sharing his love of the city. More importantly he bends over backwards to make you comfortable-our AC broke and he had it fixed before bedtime. If not, he was going to change our room. The breakfast served by Estella is just right: Ariel’s homemade bread, a variety of toppings, cereal, eggs, croissants, fresh juice and tea or coffee. It’s right across the street from a bus stop and it’s easy to hail a taxi for an extremely reasonable price. This is my second stay in this B & B and I highly recommend it to anyone looking to live in a quiet area, somewhat like an Argentinian. We certainly appreciated all that Ariel did for us. GRACIAS

Location: Palermo Viejo is a very safe neighborhood, with plenty of restaurants and shops around. The b&b is in a walking distance to both red and green line, if you want to take the Subway. Room: The room is very clean. It has high ceiling, so it feels spacious. Every room faces a small but nice courtyard. Amenities: It has free wifi. The breakfast is individually served by a lady and has high quality items, giving you a home-made feeling, while you chat with other hotel guests. Services: The host, Ariel, speaks English very well and is quite knowledgeable on all the interesting places in the city.

Lovely, lovely stay! The room was comfortable and spacious. Ariel, the owner, is very welcoming and highly knowledgeable about the city and many other things of interest. Breakfast was great with home-made bread and fresh orange juice. Good coffee too. The area is also perfect as you do not need to go to San Telmo (for example) to eat in the evening. Plenty of restaurants, and bars, within walking distance. There is something for everyone. Basically, thank you again and highly recommended.

Every year, for the last five years, my friends and I stay in Buenos Aires for one night to enjoy the shopping and nightlife at Palermo Soho. We generally stay at Airbnbs. But in this opportunity, we decided to stay at this B&B. We really enjoyed our stay. This is the perfect place to go with large groups. The rooms are nice, clean, the location is only around for blocks from Plaza Serrano and the owner, Ariel was really nice and helpful.
