This hotel is very conveniently located in the Congreso Area, at the geographical center of Buenos Aires. You can get anywhere in matter of minutes with any public transportation or taxi. Service is excellent!!!

I come to buenos Aires 4 x a year for business. I usually stay at the Intercontinental. It has been too expensive. I love Lyon. People are awesome and good price. Area is nice, banks nearby, Cervantes restaurant is good, easy for taxis. Overall great value.

The staff, service and quality of the Hotel Lyon on Riobamba in Redoleta was superb. We were given a 3 room suite with marble floors and an excellent view to the city for about $80 USD nightly during our 28 day stay. We wanted for nothing. Helpful staff catered to our needs and their suggestions regarding the tango show and...

This hotel was definitely a budget friendly hotel. The rooms were minimal, but clean (at least mine was). There were nicely sized for suites. Wifi was spotty depending on where your room was located. The breakfast was okay, but nothing great. The hotel was extremely secure with the staff locking the doors at night and remaining locked until early morning....

I always go to the Hotel Lyon, and it is getting better with time. Rather than rooms, they have apartments, so that even for a single passenger, you have a bedroom, bathroom, living, and a large refrigerator (no kitchen). They have added a safe as well, and internet is good and free. The hotel entrance is very attractive and elegant,...

Hotel Lyon is our families standby for trips to Argentina. It's located in the heart of the city and the prices are unbeatable. However, if you're looking for a modern place filled with amenities this is not the place for you. The hotel is spotless and the service is really a throwback to old world class & personal care with...

Old, classy but full of character. I stayed in the Lyon for two weeks and its was like home. Very friendly staff, helpful with good advices for points of interest (best rest, recoleta, theater, etc) in the city and safety tips. The room was an apartment like one and everyone was very comfortable.

A friend and I were in Hotel Lyon for almost two weeks in the spring, which is their fall. This hotel has nice suites with little refrigerators, bidet, AC, and great service both from the front desk staff as well as the kitchen. They include a continental breakfast. This is a family and business older hotel( not a chain) right...

We stayed at Hotel Lyon and found it much as others have described it--we had a large, clean suite with a nice bathroom (plenty of hot water) and a good breakfast, all for a very reasonable price. If you're looking for fine furnishings, this isn't the place, but it's well located if you want to walk to shopping or restaurants...

We spent the month of October / 2008 in Argentina. Our first 6 days where spent at the Hotel Lyon. We also spent 3 days there at the end of our trip. We do not speak Spanish. There was usually someone there who could speak English. This was never a problem. The staff where all excellent. One evening my wife had...
