Travellers' Choice
Urban and contemporary, CasaSur Palermo is the third hotel of "CasaSur Hotel Collection", contributing with its own revolution of good taste and juvenile style to one of the trendiest and more cosmopolitan areas of the city. Surrounded by bars and by many of the best restaurants of Buenos Aires, CasaSur Palermo Hotel represents the cool and hipster spirit of Palermo in its structure and design: from its impressive welcoming lobby in three levels to the details in the interior design with its youthful, chic and eclectic style, while keeping the sophistication of the CasaSur family. All 61 rooms, category four stars superior, have natural daylight, large and relaxed spaces and a chic and contemporary style that boasts good taste, an eye for detail and the exact warmth –with polished wood finishing, delicate textures and design furniture- for welcoming our guests.

We stayed here at the start of our trip. The room was clean and the restaurant adequate. Front desk was helpful at suggestions and cab assistance. We were due here again at the end of our trip, but 3 days prior to our arrival at this hotel, Argentina decided to cancel all flights to and from US for next 30 days. As a result, I had to cut my trip short and leave back for the US. US embassy also informed us that some hotels in Argentina will not accept US citizens. I informed the CasaSur Palermo of reason why we won’t be able to make it and they refused to refund/refund a portion. Provided it is their government hindering use of our booking at their hotel, it would be ethical to help us in any way possible instead of just taking our money for no services provided. Other hotels we had to cancel under same circumstances were more than accommodating due to this pandemic. Provided such unethical practices I would not recommend this hotel.

Nobody checks their Corona status, employees are NOT allowed to wear a protective mask or take precautions when handling guest, reception, and restaurant. Shame and criminal on the part of their management. Got this information directly from employees who feel they are lucky to be working, without knowing the risk they are put on and the entire population. Close this place RIGHT AWAY

If I travel to Buenos Aires, I allways try to stay at the Casasur. It's a different feeling as staying in the big hotel chains. It gives you the feeling as you a part of the neighborhood. The peoples in the hotel are very friendly and professional, the rooms are clean and nice. There are many restaurants and coffee bars in walking distances and I am always feelt save in this area.

We spent one night in room 402. The hotel is about a 45 minute drive from the international airport under good conditions. Our room had hardwood floor, free wifi in the room and throughout the hotel which worked well. The bathroom has one odd and annoying feature. The bathroom sink has one faucet handle to control water flow. It is very challenging to operate and I sprayed myself more than once trying to control it. Management is aware of the issue but it is part of the design of the hotel. The penalty for this is that it is hard to control water flow rate and temperature. The room had a fridge, TV, 1 American style wall plug but 7 Argentinian ones. There is a 2 drawer chest, a closet with 4 hangers, desk/chair, 1 queen bed, 2 night stands, shower (but no tub). There is a small outdoor patio with a table and two chairs overlooking a noisy street. There is also a luggage rack and expresso maker but it costs 2USD to make a tiny cup from the machine. No food/snack/water is free of charge. There is a safe and the air conditioning is controlled by a wall mounted panel. We had dinner here and the steak and risotto dishes were quite good. The hotel gave us a card for 2 free drinks. There is a guest computer in the hotel and below ground level a small fitness center. The hotel has 13 floors and 2 elevators. Breakfast was very good but the scrambled eggs for some unknown reason are served cold.

We loved this hotel. The rooms are spacious, bright and comfortable and the staff at the front desk very helpful. We used the laundry service and it was top notch. Best of all is the restaurant, which is completely vegan for dinner and really excellent. And popular! Be sure to book your table in advance.
