Spent 3 nights in this hotel and everything about it was first rate. The hotel décor was superb, topped only by the friendliness and efficiency of all the staff who couldn't do enough to make our stay pleasant. Also the location in Palermo-Soho is fantastic with lots of cafes and restaurants - breakfast for 2 at the Ninnina artisan bakery...

We were impressed firstly by what we saw online and so we made the initial booking. We were flying to Buenos Aires from El Calafate with a late night arrival. I emailed Mine Hotel from El Calafate to see if they could arrange an airport transfer at 11.15pm from Jorge Newbury International to the hotel. A confirmation reply email came...

I cannot express how brilliant this boutique hotel and its staff are!! They are all fluent in English and gave us recommendations for food and tango shows when we arrived. They have booked (at no charge) tables and shows for us and investigated a trip to the igazusi (?) falls for us - got a full quote including flights. We...

Great boutique hotel, excellent location and wonderful service. This hotel is just steps from so many great restaurants, cafes and bars. The rooms are small but have everything you need - and in this area of BA you'd be silly to spend time in your room anyway! On a rainy afternoon we hung out in the lounge area, ordered snacks...

Echoing what nearly everyone else has said before me, the service here is extraordinary. That alone makes it the stay worth the cost. Victoria at the front desk deserves a special mention for her amazing customer service and desire to give tips and help us get the most of our visit to BA. Staff is bilingual, which was very much...

Folks are not kidding when they say the staff is great. The hotel is well maintained, well located, and with a very good breakfast. They accommodated our gluten free request. We had a leak in our room and they had to move us. It was seamless. Highly recommend the hotel.

We loved our stay! We were greater enthusiastically and the check in process was simple and fast. They were also helpful with securing taxis, restaurants and general activities. The breakfast was very good with made to order options along with a buffet. The room was medium sized and comfortable and the bathroom was nice. We also had a small walk...

We stayed four nights at the Mine Hotel and would certainly return if we get the chance to visit BA again. Staff were fantastic here - Denise, Pablo and Victoria (alongside their colleagues) made our stay highly enjoyable. When we checked in they helped us to orientate ourselves with the Palermo neighbourhood and advising on street safety etc which you...

Great location in the heart of Palmero. Front staff exceptionally helpful with every request from restaurant recommendations to booking ferry tickets. Relaxing pool area in secluded courtyard. A good 15-20 minute walk to metro stations. Bathroom could have done with an update. Would highly recommend and will stay again if we return to BA

Very good experience here with an extremely helpful staff that pointed out some great empanadas at the pizza place across the street! Very cool neighborhood as well with the central part of Soho only 2 blocks away.

Staying in Palermo

Neighbourhood Profile
Palermo
Best known as the largest neighbourhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favourite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.
