The Mine Boutique Hotel is situated in the Palermo neighborhood of Buenos Aires which is very nice and surrounded by small shops, restaurants, wine bars, and pubs, all within walking distance of the hotel.

The deluxe rooms are a bit larger, a little bit more costly and feature a Jacuzzi tub which is second to none in terms of Hotel bathtubs. Last night's bath bath was decadently luxurious featuring bath gel and bath salts. Not to mention a lovely shampoo and conditioner.

The staff were friendly capable and very fast in providing information about where to go in the city, and getting you any amenities within the hotel that you would like.

The breakfast (make sure you get the breakfast package when booking your room)is amazing. There is quite a broad spectrum of breakfast foods, and the chef will make an omelette to order for you. Additional breakfast items include waffles. The coffee is very tasty, and you can even take a to-go cup of java and a nice piece of fruit with you.

Everything has been wonderful at the Mine Hotel Boutique. As far as any constructive criticism, I would say that non-slipping rugs next to the bed would be a good idea.

If we ever return to Buenos Aires we would certainly stay here at the Mine Hotel Boutique. Thanks to all the staff for a wonderful stay.

We had a wonderful time at the beautiful Boutique Hotel Mine in the vibrant suburb of Palermo Soho. We prearranged with the Mine Hotel a car pick-up at the EZE Airport and the driver was very punctual (we recommend a pick-up). Upon arrival we felt a warm welcome by the the young, charming, professional and highly motivated reception team who all spoke English fluently. The reception team Augustina,Camilla, Soledad and Tatjana as well as the hotel manager Maria del Mar Senn were a great help during our stay. They provided us with a superb restaurant list and lots of very helpful suggestions about the area (for an example a nearby foreign exchange currency facility with very good exchange rates). The hotel itself has a beautiful modern and stylish interior with lots of charming details like a pool, a nice outdoor garden and a very cosy seating room which is bright and airy.
We also were very happy with our room: very quiet at night, very comfortable bed with good quality linen, a very nice bath with a rain shower, A/C, a fast wifi, a little balcony and overall it was very clean and comfortable. A very good breakfast was served in a nice, bright room with views to the little garden with the swimmingpool. Considering the quality of this gem with only 20 rooms we think the quality/price ratio is more than fair. We highly recommend this hotel for couples and even
solo travellers (especially female because it felt very safe). We definitely would stay in this very friendly place again (early booking is a must because the Mine hotel won a lot of best hotel awards in the past years). Please also note that if you have a foreign passport (not Argentinean) and pay your room with a credit card you are excempt to pay 21% VAT for the room rate (the hotel will automatically not charge the VAT).

This modern design style hotel is in a great area of Palermo offering lots of restaurants/bars and shops in the close proximity, we had no issues walking about at night in and around the local area. it is a little further away from the “main” sites if you have limited time in BA, however we found using Cabify (think Uber) to be cheap and reliable. If you’re more confident and speak a little spanish getting a Subte card will let you access the buses or underground to save your legs walking too far.
Our room was clean tidy and well attended to by house keeping it wasnt massive room but certainly did the job for a city hotel. Bed was comfy and the room quiet, we faced the courtyard/pool so it may be different in other rooms.
As mentioned by another review I don’t know if the pool is used or more of a water feature, certainly during our time there, some brick work had crumbled into the pool and it certainly didn’t look appealing. The breakfast was very good but it can be a little congested at busy times with people helping themselves from the buffet items.
By far the best experience was the interaction with the staff, they were all very helpful spoke English and were patient with our efforts in Spanish.
If I make it back to BA I would use the Mine again.

The Mine Hotel is located in an excellent area of Palermo. Just steps outside you can find charming shops, and all sorts of restaurants in an easy walking area.
The hotel itself is small , as was my room..however it was comfortable, clean and had all the amenities .
The breakfast rooms was bright and comfortable breakfast was great...in addition to the cold buffet , you could order hot food as well.
The lobby is small but there is a lounge area with sofas and many books for browsing or simply sitting and relaxing.
There is also a small pool area..I dipped my toe in and it was too chilly for me, but it is a nice touch and makes the hotel even more unique.
The staff was exceptional from the front desk to the cleaning crew.
All in all a great place to stay in Buenos Aires.

The best thing about this small boutique hotel is the reception staff. They speak English and are so pleasant and helpful. They give you a map and printed recommendations for local eateries and even things to do on rainy days. Reception is small but nicely furnished with a water cooler and glasses. The room was clean but quite cramped. There was heavy rain during our stay and so the room was rather humid and everything felt a bit damp. The breakfast room was also small and cramped. Once two people were at the breakfast counter there wasn’t room for anyone else. A cooked breakfast was offered to order but unfortunately our scrambled eggs never arrived. Empty dishes of butter and bottles of milk weren’t refilled. They did offer a fantastic pot of tea but the cups were so small you had to keep returning to the breakfast bar to add the milk. There are lots of restaurants nearby even the Ninina Bakery just a couple of doors away offer great food and coffee. Would I stay here again - no. It’s not particularly good value for money and I think you’re paying for the area more than the actual accommodation. However, I feel a bit guilty saying this as the reception staff were delightful and definitely the hotels best asset.

Response from Marcelodemine, Manager at Mine Hotel Boutique
Responded Jan 6, 2020
Dear Guest, Thank you for having shared your experience. I am sorry that in this opportunity, we didn't fullfil your expectations. Our common areas are according to a 20 rooms boutique hotel. In the breakfast area for example, there are 8 tables. It is also possible to have breakfast in our living room. Sometimes, if all our guests are having breakfast at the same time, it could be a bit crowded. Anyway, as breakfast time is from 7.30 am to 11 am, in general it doesn't happen. I am sorry that during your stay this situation occured. I am sorry also not having known about this situation during your stay as we could have done all our best in order to make you fill confortable. Even if we are a small hotel, we focus in our personal attention. Once again, I thank you for your comments. All our guests comments are the best way we have to improve our service. Kindest regards, María del Mar Senn General Manager

This small hotel is located just outside the more interesting neighborhood of Palermo - literally two or three blocks away - meaning that it avoids some of that noise and crowd but is not right at the action.

Everything here is small, from the lobby to the elevator to the rooms and bathrooms. Small yes, but also comfortable and welcoming. The best part of this hotel is the fabulous breakfast, which has various cold options on the buffet (breads, cereal, fruit, etc.) and also makes to order eggs, pancakes and other items. The breakfast area, and the public space in general, is very attractive both in and of itself and in its lookout over the walled patio/pool area.

Definitely a good option for a traveller with an interest in a boutique hotel near Palermo.

I stayed for three nights in December with my two teenagers, as part of a group of three families. We were thrilled to find a room with three twin beds and an ample sized bathroom. We were crowded with three open suitcases and nowhere to really put clothes away (closet door was blocked due to third bed in room) but we didn’t spend much time in the room anyway. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet and most of all the accommodating desk staff. Their major coup was helping us order pizza & empanadas for the kids, setting them up for dinner in the breakfast room, while the group of adults went out to dinner. We had no qualms leaving the kids at the hotel and the hotel staff was equally complimentary about our kids when we got back. The pool was cold but it was lovely to look at and we appreciated the stock of games in the lounge. Thanks for a great kick-off to our tour of Argentina.

Gem of a hotel in Palermo Soho!!! This small boutique packs a big punch with well-appointed rooms and an exceptional staff! Claudio, who was frequently at the front desk had great recommendations for eating, shopping, transportation around the city and just about anything we asked him. His English was also very good. He warned us when not to go to certain areas and when it was safe to go. Cabs he arranged were always on time if not 5-10 mins early. The hotel had lovely common areas, nice breakfast and breakfast staff, and the location was great.

This hotel is a real find. The hotel itself is small, elegant and the rooms are well proportioned. The breakfast buffet is fresh and served with a smile, but it is the staff and the little touches which who make it exceptional. They offer a fantastic concierge service and were always responsive and helpful wit.h everything we asked of them - even before we arrived. Whilst it is a walk to the nearest metro station, it is close to restaurants and bars and cafes and taxis are cheap and quick. We loved it

My fiancé and I stayed at the Mine for 4 nights while visiting BA before heading to Uruguay mid-week and enjoyed the property, amenities and even more the people. We enjoyed so much that we came right back for another few nights upon returning from Uruguay. The property is stylish, clean, conveniently located and welcoming. The staff is superb; often helping us with restaurant recommendations, directions, happy hour, sightseeing and more. Everyone we came in contact with went above and beyond to make our stay feel curated. They kindly played along with my limited Spanish and everyone was happy to speak English to us with a smile. By the time we left, they had us laughing and planning our return trip. The breakfast spread is top notch and the wine kept onsite is fantastic. 10/10 will return. What a wonderful city, filled with wonderful people. Random fact, I love a cold room temperature for sleeping and the AC at this property kept us comfortable the entire time. You won’t regret staying at Mine.
