Helpful and friendly staff, beautiful garden to relax, comfortable rooms, lovely terrace, Palermo with cafes, restaurants in the neighborhood, a base for exploring Buenos Aires and a place for coming home after excursions. We would like to stay there again!

We spent three nights here and really enjoyed our stay. The staff were helpful, and the guesthouse was within walking distance of the subte, and near to good restaurants, cafes, and shops. Our room smelled a little musty, but the bed was super comfy, and the shower hot and powerful! Also, the garden was a lovely place to hang out...

We stayed at the Livian on our way into Argentina and were delighted with our choice. The Livian is located close to Soho, Palmero which, like all Soho's, has a wide choice of restaurants and shops. We stayed in an ensuite room near the first floor outdoor terrace, which we loved. We also liked being able to make ourselves a...

We spent 4 nights at Livian Guesthouse in Nov 2012 and really enjoyed our stay. Just 10mins walk to the heart of Palermo, the staff were really helpful and the gardens were a lovely place to relax. We stayed in the mystique suite and although the decor was a little tired, the room was spacious, comfortable and cool. A great...

Livian Guesthouse its a really good place to stay in Bs As. Located in Palermo, you will find yourself near downtown, Recoleta, and the most touristic places in Buenos Aires. You have everything close (restaurants, bars, shops, etc). The house its beautiful and you can enjoy the garden too. The rooms are really comfortables, and they all have different decorations....

The tenants are extremely friendly, you know why it's called a "guest" house, they really treat you this way. The room was nice, very clean and comfortable. The patio is awesome And finally the breakfast was near perfection, large choice, great food, great coffee, etc... Nothing to complain about!

Staying in Palermo

Neighbourhood Profile
Palermo
Best known as the largest neighbourhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favourite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.
