We had booked here for a couple of nights and ended coming back for longer. Great attentive staff. Rooms nicely decorated and clean. Shared bathroom always spotlessly clean and rarely occupied. Delicious breakfast (included fruit salad, boiled eggs, toast, pastries and great coffee). Good location not far from Palermo Soho and also the metro to head into town. For the...

We stayed here for three nights at the start of our trip and two nights at the end of our trip to Argentina - and it really did feel like coming home. The guest house has a shabby chic thing going on - it's a charming, old house in Palermo, and each of the rooms is distinct. Huge bonuses included...

We had two stop overs in Buenos Aires, and after staying at Livian for the first three nights it felt like coming home one week later for another night. Such a pretty place to stay, such a friendly staff!! We have been in Chile and Argentina for four weeks and in the end, we can say the Livians Guesthouse was...

We stayed just one night on the way home from Antarctica. We had the "kiss" room which features a huge copy of the Klimt painting. The decor is eclectic to say the least, with lots of pictures and ornaments throughout the house. The proprietress was friendly and helped us to try and book a restaurant for that evening. The bed...

I usualy don´t wirte reviews.. only when a property really suprises me… And this was one!! All my other trips to Buenos Aires, I stayed in five star hotels. But last February, as my friends were staying at Livian, I decided to join them. Wow… this place is a gem! Magic feeling. Great decor… with that vintage-eclectic combination. It has...

The overall decoration of the place was fabulous. The garden is lovely. The bed was ridiculously comfy (I wish I could have taken it home, haha). The staff was very nice in general. The breakfast was very good. The hotel is located near a shopping area. It's near plenty of bus stops but a bit far from the underground stations.

The lovely and great staff at this B&B made me feel welcome and at home. Although I shared a bathroom with one other room, it was always clean. The staff, especially Michelle, Sylvia, Pilar and Luciana deserve a special mention, very helpful, especially when I got sick! The breakfast was lovely too, an added bonus as it wasn't included originally...

Staying in Palermo

Neighbourhood Profile
Palermo
Best known as the largest neighbourhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favourite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.
