If it wasn't for the staff, I probably would have rated this place as average. But thanks to them , the stay here was well beyond average! Shout out to Kevin, Leonardo and Guillermo for making my stay there very pleasant. I've been solo traveling for a couple months now and these guys were approachable and offered lots of insights...

We stayed here as a couple for a week. First the good points, great location, lovely building with really high cielings. Really great price especially given the location, daytime receptionist really nice and helpful. Comfortable beds. On the negative side, first night fridge was broken took 3 days to fix it. Day two had cold showers as the hotel had...

This is a small hotel on the third floor of a beautiful old apartment building. The decor is Victorian and lovely. It was very comfortable and in a central location from which to explore the city. Reception staff was very helpful and courteous. I definitely recommend this hotel! What would make this a great hotel: more variety for breakfast (the...

We stayed at two locations in Buenos Aires. At Rooney's and at a hotel in Palermo. Both are in good locations but for different reasons. Palermo is in the heart of the hip and trendy area of Buenos Aires, with cool restaurants, sidewalk cafes, and small shops, though it is a bit away from some of the tourist spots. Rooney's...

I have been pleased by the personnel, the service and the location of this hotel. Moreover I got an upgrade of the room without extra costs since I had a lot of luggage. It was a pleasure staying here, away from the hustle of Buenos Aires.

Great location near Calla subte station, with plenty of restaurants and bars around it. The architecure of an old victorian building is nicely renovated and maintain the confort and refinement. Beside the noise of av. Callao, the room is nice to sleep restful. The bathroom is old fashioned, but very clean. We really enjoyed the time at Rooney Hotel.

My boyfriend and I stayed at Rooney's when we were in Buenos Aires. The hotel was very cute and cozy. The rooms are old but have a very charming feel. The showers are not the best, but good enough. There are many cool restaurants and pubs around the area that you can easily walk to. San Nicolas is pretty far...

We only stayed one night, but truly enjoyed it. I personally like the old lift which still worked very efficiently. The cars at night can be somewhat noisy, but as I am a deep sleeper it didn't bother me at all.

Booked Rooneys online. Family of 6. First time to BA. booked two room and got exactly as requested. Owner is Irish and very friendly and helpful. Doesn't look much from the front but a hidden gem, once you get inside. Beautiful features which the owner is carefully restoring
