After a very arduous drive through very heavy rain we arrived at this hotel literally in the middle of nowhere, the room was a good size & the restaurant on site quite good, thank goodness as only place anywhere around!!
Clean, Friendly, good value, good food, fuel, well appointed rooms. We will be back! Possible improvement: we enjoy a pot of coffee at 4:00am, for some reason the outside lights came on. No need for those. It otherwise all’s good.

Thanks for the kind review and for helping spread the good word about our lodge. We will certainly look forward to your return visit. Appreciate the tip on the outside lights...the timer schedule had not been adjusted from the summer hours.
When you book online, you book a specific room - which is what me and my friends had done in order to get rooms next to each other. However, when we checked in, we were assigned different rooms, with one room between us.

Not a 5 star hotel, but a quaint nice place to stay when you are in that beautiful area of the country. I would stay there again, and I certainly hope to stay there again. It reminds me of a 1950s or 1960s hotel.

It is just straying to drop in temps so now is good, however if you were planning on visiting the north side Grand Canyon, you need to check it is not open in the cooler months. Also, take the time to go to horseshoe bend, now is the perfect time. I would not recommend April through September.
