Thoroughly enjoyed this wide spot in the road. Very friendly people, not fancy, simple but clean lodging. New and equally simple, but so very adequate, was the gift shop and restaurant (very good, see separate review). Also a laundry, convenience store with ATM, gas station and post office. There you have it - the entire "town". We sat outside and...

Marble Canyon Lodge is a great place for an overnight stay before launching a Grand Canyon river rafting trip. The rooms are rustic, simple, and clean. The views are great, and it's a very short walk to the historic Navajo Bridge over the Colorado River. The bridge's interpretive center was already closed by the time we arrived, but it would...

I loved everything about the Marble Canyon Lodge. It rests beneath the Vermillion Cliffs and so you're in a constant state of amazement every time you step out of your room - and especially so at sunrise and sunset. All the rooms seemed equally comfortable. We were in Room 109 which had two double beds, a TV, and dresser. The...

I used Marble Canyon Lodge as a midway point between Flagstaff and the North rim of the Grand Canyon. The motel was modest but very clean and comfortable and the setting along the Vermilion Cliffs was spectacular. There is a restaurant with decent food, a small gift shop and a gas station on the property and even an airstrip for...

Request a room in the back row of this lodge and the view will not disappoint. We spent most of our time on the patio watching the sunset and rise. The rooms are small but we weren't there to watch TV. This lodge is close to Lee's Ferry and hours of outdoor adventures. The bed was squeaky but comfortable as...

Last year, I was travelling to Utah and neighbor states with a rental. On the way from Grand Canyon north rim to Page, I was hoping to reach page at night for visiting Antelope canyon. Alas, I passed by this motel, already in dark, passed a little bridge, arrived at rout 89 north to see it is blocked! Driving south...

We did not stay here, but we're passing by in our way to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. There was no place else for lunch so stopped here. The food and service were fine. There are also some scenic views of the Vermillion Cliffs that run along the valley.

The rooms are average, but clean. The staff was excellent, very helpful and very accommodating. A very good deal for the time of year and location. The food at the restaurant was good, and they start early so you can get on with your desert adventure.

While the rooms are basic and do not offer wifi, the location is great, the surrounding scenery includes the Vermillion Cliffs, the Navajo Bridge, the Colorado River and Lake Powell and the Glen Canyon Dam are nearby. The restaurant on property is a real value with good food and reasonable prices considering there is virtually no competition for 100 miles....
