It’s a great place to have a rest. Nice peaceful views, nice people and nice food. However prices are disproportionate. About 500 USD pent in total for just one night, in a non-fancy at all hut. It’s alright but very expensive for what they offer!
We have stayed at Los Pecanes 3 times over the last few years. Its very pleasant to get there, a train ride and a boat ride, rather than fighting traffic on the highway. The setting is gorgeous, the owners super friendly. Food is great.
I've been many times at this place and every tie I return to Argentina I spend some days there. The place is ideal for resting and for be in contact with the nature. Go there, take a kajak and paddle through the small river in the surrounding, fish a while and when back enjoy the extraordinary food they prepare.
Beautiful peacefull lodging on an island in Tigre delta. Warm welcoming by owners who serve delicius barbecua and tenpting desserts. Do NOY miss it! Great work to attract humming birds! It is a fabulous spot for birdwatchers and photographers,
We have just come back from the most wonderful two night stay at Hosteria Los Pecanes. Richard and Ana were the perfect hosts: warm, welcoming and kind. The room (the largest double room) was spacious and clean, and the bed was comfortable. Ana's home cooked food is delicious and she met our dietary needs magnificently (we are a nightmare couple to cater for - a vegetarian and coeliac!). The highlight though is the grounds and general ambiance. The hummingbirds and other wildlife are enthralling, it's a joy to spend time with the resident friendly dogs, and the gardens are attractive and peaceful. The 90 min water bus ride gives you a chance to mix with the locals whose life is on the Delta, and we really enjoyed our canoe trip out into the maze of waterways. Definitely recommended.…
