My boyfriend and I stayed in the very basic dorm for a week and it was great. Everything was transparent in the sense that you knew exactly what you were getting/paying for. The bedroom and bathroom were always clean, which is always nice. Mike and Celeste were super friendly and helpful when we checked in and when they were around...

This is a hostel with a few private rooms not too far from Mendoza bus station and city centre (but far enough to be quiet and safe). The private room with bathroom I stayed in was 'shabby chic', clean with antique furniture. The Lao has a large comfortable communal area, garden, kitchen, plunge pool and offers very basic (almost symbolic)...

We stayed here for four nights. Celeste greeted us warmly as we arrived early one Sunday. She was friendly and most helpful throughout our stay with great tips and really useful information about Mendoza. We stayed in one of the pool rooms. As we were a couple, the cost of the private room was the same as two people staying...

Stayed here for a couple of nights in a 4 people dorm. This really is a super nice, relaxed place. Has a lovely garden and swimming pool, a great chill area (including a superb friendly dog). Friendly and helpful staff, good breakfast. Matrace was good, the room towards the street a bit noisy but did not bother me personally. Walking...

We spend three nights in a horrible filthy hostel and then moved to Lao: what a relief! The owners are great hosts and know a lot of local stores for good food and veggie shops. The hostel is clean, breakfast with the breadpudding is amazing, and the kitchen is well equipped. We really enjoyed the garden in this hostel. I...

Definitely recommended if you prefer a homely atmosphere to bigger commercial hostels. Mike, Celeste & Marguerita (their dog) made me feel so welcome I extended my stay twice. Felt very happy and relaxed here - lovely vibe, clean and safe. It's in a great location right by a main road with shops, ATM, restaurants and bars. As long as you're...

We are a couple and stayed in the 4 bed dorm. The room and ensuite were comfortable and clean. The breakfast is basic but tasty and we enjoyed it. Reception staff super helpful. Easy walk to bus station and town. However not a lot to do in Mendoza in winter. Be aware that the border to chile closes in winter...

Hola! Thanks for your review! We just want to let any one planning to come to Mendoza know there is lots to do both in the city and in the surrounding areas all year round. How about a wine tasting and/or lunch in a winery or two? Or rafting. Visit the largest municipal park in Latin America, or head up...

We stayed here for a few nights during a trip through Argentina and had a great time. The staff at the hostel were very friendly and helpful in organising trips for us and giving us advice on things to do in Mendoza, and their rescue dog was very friendly and cuddly. Easy walking distance to the centre of Mendoza and...

We really enjoyed our stay here. Mau on reception was super helpful and went above and beyond for us. The dog was nice and friendly. Very laid back and chilled out hostel which was ideal for our stay in Mendoza. Breakfast was basic but that was all we needed.

We stayed here 3 nights and really enjoyed the bed in the private room. Decorated very cute shabby chic with a friendly dog to greet you. It's close to the bus station and they have great tours to enjoy. If I ever find myself in Mendoza again I will stay at Lao!
