Everything was EXCELLENT. The location is GREAT. The staff's attention was wonderful. We have been there three times and we GREATLY APPRECIATE it. It has a spa + a very nice view of the river on which it is.

My husband I, plus our daughter, son-in-law and 7-month old grand-child, spent 4 nights in two superior rooms at the Guayrá Hotel in August. I would not hesitate to say it is the best choice by far in Gualeguaychú. It offers different kinds of lodgings, to suit varying budgets: standard rooms, superior rooms, two-bedroom apartments, log cabins for four. That...

I was moving to Uruguay and had to stay an extra day in Argentina along the border. After crossing the bridge into Gualaguaychu, I immediately noticed this beautiful hotel near a river with a wonderful backdrop and decided to stay there. The rooms were really cute, the spa was great, the views of the water were wonderful and the staff...

“Main building: front rooms look on to the river, but also the large outdoor swimming pool, making them noisy; back rooms look on to parking space and log cabins, but must be quieter. Superior rooms: the four facing the back must be noisy in summer as they look out on to the camping grounds of the sports club; choose the front rooms on the first floor for a better view of the river than on the ground floor. Two sets of log cabins: those behind the main building back on to the sports club but are all right. Those behind the spa building are sandwiched between the camping ground and the spa. There is one cabin completely hidden by the new block under construction: beware!”
  • Bathroom in Superior Room: window opens to enclosed corridor linking rooms
  • Bathroom in Superior Room
  • Entrance to Superior Room: mini-fridge
  • Superior Room: TV set on wall under ceiling
  • Superior Room, entrance and minifridge
  • Superior Room
