Was really looking forward to staying here as looks so nice on the website. However this is not the case.

On arrival at it's sister hotel - petit caraguata at 5pm we were told that the room we'd booked on booking.com was no longer available. We could either have a double room or a twin room elsewhere, in this hotel.

We were then taken to this hotel.
The first room didn't have a working toilet.

The second room had, what appeared to be, an open drain in the bathroom - really smelly.

Complimentary toiletries - soap & shampoo from another hotel.

Breakfast - a few rolls & a bit of jam.

Didn't find the pool or bar.

On the plus side - good location and the town is really lovely.

Would return to Iguazu falls again but definitely wouldn't stay in this hotel.

My husband and I stayed here in August for 3 nights. Had we not wanted to get up early and see the falls each day we would have moved hotels after the first night. We found the people that ran this hotel to be largely unhelpful. There was often nobody at reception. They are happy to advertise in English, but then made no effort to speak English, even after we tried to speak Spanish as best we could. We found the room had not been cleaned and when we asked the next day if it could be cleaned, we were rather rudely told in Spanish that if we did not leave the key when we went out the room would not be cleaned. I am not sure how we were meant to know that. We went in to breakfast one morning and sat there for at least 20 minutes while the girl served everyone else, including people that came in after us without even an acknowledgement that we were there. While the rooms were ok, we understand from others we met that you can get better rooms elsewhere for cheaper and you will get a smile... More
