Staff was really friendly and helpful. The facilities excellent. Pool is amazing. But the bed had no clean sheets and the bathroom wasn't clean either. I'd reccommend it if you are ok with that, otherwise skip san ignacio

Stayed a night to check out the mission ruins. Off season so it was quiet, I ended up with a dorm to myself. The hostel staff were very helpful, especially a guy who I bumped into on my way to the hostel from the highway (around 10 minute walk) who organized bus tickets for me for the next day to...

We stayed in a double room in the adventure hostel though it was 3 single beds, and it was terrible. The blankets were heavily stained , some with big burn holes, the toilet had a smell that the super strong bleach could not hide, i was almost sick in the morning from the smell.my mrs would not use the shower due...

This hostel may be the closest to luxury one can find in San Ignacio. For a decent price you get wifi, air con, enormous pool, garden and common room area. Breakfast is basic Argentine but with some homemade pastries. Staff are lovely and helpful. Bathroom leaves much to be desired- not much hot water if any, but definitely not needed...

I reserved this place because it was the only one listed on booking.com for San Ignacio. It's certainly the most budget lodging I have stayed in a while. It is located toward the end of town but San Igancio being a small town you can walk anywhere. The room was very basic but usable. The wifi worked. It had a...

We spent a day here and could easily stay longer. The main building is old, but kept neat and clean by the friendly staff. I liked the large communal area with the large fireplace for cold winters, and the pool that was kept in order. There are hammocks under the trees (I happen to love hammocks) and the bar well...

The staff were friendly and helpful. Stayed in a 4 bed dorm. The room was basic and a bit dated. Could do with a lick of paint to brighten it up. It was good to get hot water in the bathroom, as we hadn't had that very often in South America. The garden and pool area were large and well...

We travelled north from Posadas by bus and were at San Ignacio within the hour. The bus terminal is some distance from the centre of town but older style taxis frequently stop at the terminal and not expensive, if you are prepared to haggle. WE arrange our return taxi as abulk buy and found the driver was very reliable and...

We had originally planned on travelling from Iguazú to Mercedes in order to get to Colonia Pelligrini in the Esteros del Ibera wetlands and only wanted to visit the Jesuit ruins in San Ignacio. A very strong recommendation from other travellers led to us changing our plans and staying in San Ignacio Adventure hostel instead. They weren't impressed by Mercedes...
