It's safe. It's very eccentric, the staff is helpful and supply everyone with maps. They have Wifi which works when the power works (or not.) It's fine for a few days. Nice bar. Breakfast was a little chaotic - the usual bread and coffee stuff shouldn't be that hard.

We stayed in a dorm room which was quite big and airy and spacious. The bathrooms are really bad- so cramped and they get way too steamy to be enjoyed! Loved the quirkyness of the furniture and the location is the best bit- the bakery next door has THE best ice-creams you will try in Argentina! The breakfast was not... More

This is a very funky and ecclectic kind of hostel. The owner has style and a very good eye for details. It's colorful and stylish, and the staff is super friendly. The only drawback would have to be the loud traffic noise from the street below. Room number 1 was especially noisy. But the hostel itself is wonderful!

This hostel has some great things going for it. For a start, it´s a beautiful building - the dorms are spacious, with incredibly high ceilings and tall, elegant shutters - and it´s also been very well looked after, setting it apart from its more dilapidated counterparts. Lavished with graphic art, ostentatious furniture and ambient lighting, it has the look and... More

Che Pampas Hostel is a death trap, and that is just one of it is many problems. The emergency exit information is to “use the windows.” The hostel is housed in a late 19th century town house where the hostel is one floor up from the street via two very narrow flights of stairs. Anyone using the windows can look... More
