The grounds were very well kept. The pool area and hot tub area was very nice with beach towels available. They also had handicap access chairs for the pool and one of the hot tubs. The lounge chairs and tables around the pool were very nice. It was an enjoyable setting. Around the pool there was activities such as frisbee golf, tether ball, basketball, shuffle board, and more.
Our room was clean and had a table and two chairs. It was equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot, sink and dish drainer, dishes, silverware, and glassware for two.
The bathroom had a combination shower jacuzzi. The bed was very comfortable. Our only issue was the noise from the adjacent room. We could plainly hear the people talking, which was very annoying.

We had a two double bedroom with two bathrooms, large living room, laundry room and fully equipped kitchen for a 3 week stay. We normally stay in Florida, but wanted to try somewhere different.

The apartment was very clean and if we needed anything extra, housekeeping were lovely and accommodating. We had to call maintenance for some minor issues with a leaking sink but they fixed the problem immediately.

The resort is very small with a lovely pool, gym, bbq area and playground for smaller kids. There is a lobby reception with leaflets of ‘what to do’ in the area. You will need a car, however we Ubered around everywhere the entire trip and it worked out better than hiring a car. Water parks, shopping mall, restaurants are within the easy access by car.

We wanted to stay in the Mesa area and this resort came up through RCI. It was everything we had hoped for. The room was very nice and clean. The pool was beautiful and the entire grounds was very clean and appealing. We will definitely stay there again.

We had relatives and friends coming into town to visit and were looking for a place to stay that would give them more room than a hotel room. We were able to book both family and friends in this resort a rate better than local hotels with full kitchens and double bedrooms. The facility has a great pool and hottub too. No real complaints were heard from either group that we set up there.

This was the second year we stayed here and will be the last. After my wife took a shower( which leaked on the floor every time), she asked if I saw the pile of black hair on the shower ledge. I also found garbage under the bathroom sink and a few pieces on the kitchen sink. I went down to the front desk to voice my concerns about the cleanliness of the room. I was assured by the courteous desk clerk that the room would be cleaned again, and would I please speak to the manager about the problem. Upon arrival that evening we found a bigger pile of black hair (pictured) in a different area of the shower ledge! The garbage was still under the bath sink,(pictured) and a piece of garbage was still under the bed. i did not try to find out what this was! When spoken to, the manager voiced concern at the problem, but her concern lacked any sincerity. We were staying at Westgate as guests of an owner. The owner was told that he would be refunded his transfer fee. It is ten days since, and he has not seen that happen. We will definitely stay somewhere different next year.

We stayed 1 night. The Pet fee for her stay in our room was $150 with an additional $100 deposit at this so-called pet friendly hotel. That's ridiculous! The pet fee cost more than the hotel for the night! For that price, they don't even provide a "cage" as the receptionist called it.

The room was very small, the tub was dirty, we cleaned it ourself, and the outside of the unit smelled of gas, and our unit DID NOT even have a kitchen or stove. Makes me wonder if they have carbon monoxide detectors installed on the property?? The floor in our room and bathroom was tile flooring; so if our pet had an accident it would have been easy to clean, and she's a girl so she doesn't pee everywhere like a boy would. We don't allow our dog on the bed. So pretty much slept on the floor in her own bed that we brought and we were charged us $150.

The hotel should just say pets are not allowed if they charge that price! And for that, I am posting a bad review so that everyone will know not to bring their pet. We booked our stay with priceline.com; room was non-refundable and the pet fee was not disclosed. Stay away!

In January, 2021 I made reservations through Travelocity to stay at
Westgate Painted Mountain Golf Resort in Mesa, Arizona arriving on
January 19th and checking out on January 20th. After checking in at the front desk I walked to my room and noticed bags of garbage leaning against the wall just outside my door. After entering my room I noticed a strong smell of marijuana toward the back of the room likely coming from the connecting room next door. In addition to the smell the bathroom was dirty and the guests next door sounded as though they were in my room. It was clear to me that there was no way I or anyone else could enjoy an evening in that room.
I picked up my luggage and immediately returned to the front desk. I
informed them that the room was unsatisfactory
and why and that I would need to be moved to another room. His
response in condescending fashion was that because the rooms all
share the same configuration they would likely be no quieter while
overlooking the other issues I mentioned. Following his refusal to move me to
another room I asked for a complete refund. His response was that he
would not be able to process a refund because I had booked through
Travelocity and the refund would have to come from them. I then
contacted Travelocity and stayed on hold with an associate while they
called Westgate. The customer service agent at Travelocity after
speaking with Westgate informed me that Westgate had refused any
kind of refund and that there was nothing they could do. I then took my check in information and key and returned them to the front desk and informed them I was leaving.
I then booked another Hotel in Mesa for that evening. It is clear with documented proof I did not receive the services from Westgate I had paid for having instead to book last minute at another hotel. Being tossed back and forth between Travelocity and Westgate I am
disgusted with the service and the way I was treated by both Travelocity and Westgate to the point I would never use or recommend either of them in the future.

I checked in to the hotel, was given my room key and went off to find my room. I found it and unlocked the door only to find someone laying in the bed watching TV. I apologized, quickly closed the door, and went back to the desk. I told the clerk what happened and her reply was, "I know, i just got off the phone with the man in that room." No "i'm sorry" no "my bad" but rather another room key shoved at me. I trudged to the other end of the property and found the room. As soon as i opened the door i was met with the most horrific smell. I called the front desk and asked to change rooms only to be told that there were no other rooms and i was either going to have to deal with the smell or find a different place to stay. There were no other hotels in the area with rooms so i was pretty well stuck. The clerk did offer to have "the machine" brought to my room to help with the smell. The "machine" turned out to be a spray bottle of something to mask smells. It helped marginally. Very tired from traveling at that point all i wanted to was sleep so i plugged in my phone and laptop to charge for use the next morning. I woke up the next morning and opened my laptop to do some work and it immediately turned off and wouldnt come back on. I checked that it was plugged in...yes, it was so i started checking the connections. Everything was good back to the plug where i discovered that the plug was a GFCI outlet that had been tripped prior to my arrival so neither nothing of mine charged at all. I showered, got dressed and got out of there as quickly as I could.

I do not recommend this place to anyone. We stayed at the property for 2 nights before our travels to Colorado. We packed our things and left the property at 10am on 1/8 because we needed to get on the road early for our travels. The following week we noticed the deposit was not returned so we called and spoke with Robert (who was extremely condescending and rude) and he stated that the housekeeper stated the room was occupied at 12pm so the $50 will not be returned, he also stated the GM would reach out and she has not done so. We now have to go through all sorts of steps to prove we left at 10am with receipts from Gas/food purchased before we hit the road. The customer service is horrible and the place is outdated. There are other hotels in area that are a lot more trustworthy and reliable I would recommend.

A lockout unit is one large one room set up as a bedroom as you enter. On the far side is a closet and very small kitchenette; sink, microwave, bar refrig. Off that was a nice bathroom. Furnishings, etc are dated. The door leading to the otherside of the unit is next to the kitchenette. Very noisy as the walls between are not sound insulated.

There is an ice machine near the pool. Would think your room would be available by the time you get there, but don't know about pool use. Should be possible as there are restrooms (for changing?) near the pool. Don't know about storage.
