In previous years the management allowed folks to bring a snack, a beverage and sit by the pool area and enjoy each other’s company along with some decent live music. Not much has changed except the Liquor and food restricted area was expanded to take in all the patio so not even bottled water was allowed without it being purchased at the bar/food sales area. The result wAs people were not gathering and opting to be outside the pool area in smaller more structured settings. We found it difficult to meet new people in this profit oriented environment. CanAm answer is licensing which is understandable but they fail to mention they were the ones that extended the fenced in inclusion areas to create this mess. Last time I spend about thirty to fourth dollars a week on food and beverage this year they got nothing.

It is a shame to see them destroy the community environment the pool area provided and next year I as others will likely show it by moving on. I gather this is in all CanAm resorts and the ones that have unlicensed pool areas find those pool areas packed where the licensed areas are shunned . To bad they use to allow drink tabs, cash payment now every order is a separate credit card swipe. This effected the New Years event with long drink lines. At the Xmas event drinks were closed down when the till tape ran out.

Friendly residents, lots of activities but...management has chosen to disallow bringing in your own food and drink in the pool area. Socializing in the courtyard has decreased dramatically. There is no longer table service in the Cactus Grill area. You order at the counter and pick up at the counter. We no longer use the Grill. Annual lot rent has escalated to nearly $8000 a year. You required to pay for garbage service year round although Mesa only charges per pickup. Shop around.

This is one of the better RV Resort parks. I must say the people who stay here are the friendliest ones I have ever encountered. It would be unusual to not have some one greet you as you passed them on the street.

All the bells and whistles: Pool , hot tub, snooker, computer room, Outside Lounge/restaurant, various craft rooms, tennis, pickle ball, etc. the list of activities goes on and on. Really no need to leave the park to be entertained. Being in Mesa though there are plenty of restaurants, hiking trails and attractions to see near by.

Like a lot of Parks they have not installed a free WiFi system to meet the demand, or it is set up poorly. We were there for over a month and could not "ever" access our mail service from our site. If you were lucky you could log on but then the internet would not be functional. This was consistent throughout the park and the central courtyard, with the exception of the "Lab" wifi. With that one feed you could consistently access the internet and get your mail. So we did lots of walking down to the center and sitting in the lounge chairs to access our mail. (I just think if you advertise free wifi, it should be functional!) There are some parks which put in the right technical controls to manage it properly.

With that one exception, this park is superb however. Really well run and the facilities never seemed to be so busy that you could not partake in them. I would return here again.

Good job!

A fantastic place to stay! People are very friendly and helpful. There are so many activities to do (you will have a hard time to choose which ones you wish to do) We lived in our motorhome but there are many park models there. My husband and I played tennis (I was a new tennis player), square danced (learners and we were given free lessons), I learnt how to quilt (beautiful place to quilt and sew - many helpers available to help you out - also a few sewing machines to use in case you do not have one). I enjoyed making the puzzles in the library (some were very challenging), swimming and exercising in the pool, shuffle board, hiking, camera club, potlucks, church services, Bible studies, special guests performing music etc., so much to do that you will be unable to join all the activities you would like.
The resort is very close to a Fry's grocery store and several restaurants. You can pay bills at the Fry's store which we did since we did not have an American bank account.

A word of caution: if you have a bike make sure you lock it up at all times. We had a bike stolen at 4:30 a.m. near the front office as we were preparing to leave for Christmas break.

Four years ago, our friends incite us to come for three months, so we rented a place and bought the second week we were here, I haven't been to other park but i cannot see what they would have that this one doesn't. We have plenty of activities of all sort from sport to craft to games to hike, think of what you want to do with your time and there is something for you i am certain. The people are friendly , the park clean, we even have a dog park where they can run.

Everyone is so friendly, and there is so much to do you will never be bored. We have a hard time fitting it all in. We have stayed at Towerpoint the last three winters and each year we stay longer. Just left yesterday and I wish I were back there. The quilt room is amazing, and even though we do not use the woodworking, pottery, stained glass or silversmith facilities, they seem to be extensive as well.

We recently returned from a very quick stay at Towerpoint. This was our first foray into the possibility of becoming Snowbirds! We chose Towerpoint based on the reviews, the location, as well as the size of the resort. We wanted someplace large enough that it wasn't like a gossip colony. :) We were very, very pleased with everything. Due to a death in the family we had to change our dates at the last minute but we were easily accommodated. On arrival, you are greeted at the gates and given instructions to check in. The ladies at reception are wonderful! You are given all the information and paperwork to help to "learn the ropes", as well as name tags indicating your names, dates of stay and where you are from. The rule at Towerpoint is that you are supposed to meet someone (or more!) every day. Our stay was from Oct. 26 to November 2nd. Once there, we learned that it's pretty quiet until November 1st. That certainly suited us! We enjoyed the peaceful time at the pool! Once the snowbirds arrive, the action starts! There is a wonderful bar / cantina where we were able to watch the Vancouver Canucks hockey (hubby was thrilled!) Even though they close early, we were welcome to stay and watch the game. The TV's are on 24 hours a day. There is one main clubhouse which has all the amenities. The fitness center is very well equipped. There are tons of activities (you can check the website), but we didn't participate as we were busy checking out the area. One of the best things is that the pools and hot tubs are open 24 hours a day! Not that we were up very late, as we were very busy, but it's nice to know there is an option for a late night soak. I loved the ladies' shower room and bathroom. There were 6 large showers with lots of space. Hubby said the mens' showers weren't as great. Honestly, most people shower in their own units. The majority of sites are park models, but we didn't feel out of place with our RV. The sites themselves are huge, as they are made to accommodate the park models. The pet area is wonderful. It's a large, grassy area in the corner of the resort. I found this resort to be clean, super friendly, and just the right size. Even though we are "young", we were welcomed by everyone. Also, I LOVED the music that was played by the pool all the time. Mostly 70's, easy going music that was just loud enough to hear, but you could still talk with others. The furniture around the patio was much nicer than we saw at other resorts, too. We are already looking forward to our next trip, and plan to stay much longer than a week! This is also located close to the Superstition Market (a MUST) and down from Fry's. Great location.

We have had a few opportunities to reside at Tower Point Rv Park. Although the Park is a bit older thus spaces are adequate but not huge we found this a very well maintained property with very nice entertainment and recreation facilities. I would recommend it as the layout places the clubhouse closer to even the furthest pads than the sesame companies adjacent property. There is good access to grocery stores and easy to get into own and the Malls. We are going back.

Towerpoint, a line of several properties owned/operated by CAl-Am properties here in Mesa AZ. You can experience many amenities like hot tubs, pools, fully staffed outdoor Bar and Grill and even the convenience of a US post office to name just a few. Your rate to stay gives you crafts, sewing, lapidary, silver smith, billiards and much more. There is a very attentive staff and an excellent activities department. The downside of TP are the narrow heavily used inner streets that are flanked by what looks like 3ft wide streets that is flush with the street allowing for some obstructive parking. Most owners of park models are over 65 and have bikes and golf carts. Most do not follow the laws of the road and have us on high alert for the possibility to be hit by one or to run them over. Very unsettling. The dog park is small, but you can get the job done and large dogs will find room to chase a ball. Tennis is huge here and other park residents come on bike and cars to play. Sites for rv'rs are mostly a great size, gravel to park rig, cement pad for patio. Wifi may be free, but unless you have a clear unobstructed range, you will tear your hair out. On the downside for workampers....some were unexpectedly laid off for half the season. So driving all the way from who knows where was a big expense. When you throw in the fact that winter season is pricy everywhere or unattainable, you see why this will be passed along to other great work camper staff to be warned. The whole work camper staffing rules for staying will be changing and can change during your stay. Just sayin. Pricing will have to be done on your own, but we paid a special early winter price (monthly) that was decent and then it went to over $700 in January. I do not know weekly or daily rates. We didn't hate it here, but staying the whole season was too much.

Very friendly park with so many activities you will not be board. The pool area is beautiful and the happy hour fun. The grill offers good food at great prices. So many clubs with amazing equipment available for members to use: quilting, woodworking, glass fusing, pottery, stained glass. Lots of sports: tennis, pickle ball, bocce ball, shuffle board, dance and exercise classes. It is a 55+ park, so the residents are in that age group, but the grass doesn't grow under their feet!
