One of the nicest hostels I stayed at in Argentina, excellent value ($10 per night) for quiet dorm room with good shower and lockers. Good coffee for breakfast with a weird pastry and jam. About 20 minute walk from the centre of town / plaza. Surrounding streets quiet and quaint.

The hostel is lovely, rooms are clean and staff are very friendly and helpful. We stayed in the sister hostel on Av. Corrientes and we absolutely loved the layout as it felt more like an apartment than a hostel room. The staff were lovely, they let us use the computer as both our phones were broken. The best part for... More

Good little find. About 20 mins walk (no meandering) from bus station through San Martin Park where you can find good cheap food in the streetcarts/stalls on the way. Walkable to centre of Salta but a little far back, quiet area of town. Great hostel, fantastic outdoor area, was nice to see some trees and grass after 2 weeks of... More

Great new year celebration organisedby the Hostal. Room to relax in the shaded garden. Kitchen to cook own food and good amenities available. Bar on site but there is a rule that you are not allowed to bring your own drink into the hostal. You are able to do your washing here easily. Good mix of people staying. The Hostal... More

Good breakfast, rooms and lovely Italian coffee in the morning! Great staff also, especially the nighttime staff who were so kind to us after our 50 hour journey from Bolivia. Also the receptionist was so helpful with the horse riding tours - which I'd definitely recommend.

A simple, but comfortable hostel with a nice ambiance and friendly staff. Its location isn't bad, but it's not great; it's a 15-20 minute walk to the city center which can be a bit inconvenient. Overall, though, I would recommend a stay here.

Very nice hostel. Staff is very friendly and helpful, and the rooms are comfortable. Service is provided at the free breakfast which is a nice touch. The hostel is a short walk from the downtown area so it may be a little less known than the others nearby, but it's definitely a great option

Stayed here after a friend recommended it. Great hostel, good kitchen, really friendly staff (one of whom is a keen chef and offered to make empanadas with us but sadly we had to leave), beds are really comfy and you get a towel too! Breakfast was bread and coffee - would have liked some eggs and fruit but I understand... More
