My husband and I spent 5 days at Loreto Lodge in March and we couldn't have asked for a more memorable experience. Our main focus was photographing the Orcas of Punta Norte however every day brought a new adventure as well! From the minute we were met at the airport with a big welcoming smile from Alejandro to the very... More

The hospitality has been excellent, Alejandro has been a great host, he drove us around all the island, we have been hose riding and only that was already worth the trip from Europe, we have been swimming and it was pretty cold but we were all given wetsuits

A rare treat - the Valdes Peninsula is fascinating in itself, but being guided Alejandro Ferro around his family's land takes you back in time and left us feeling so knowledgable about this extraordinary land. We had 3 days of adventure, fun, jaw dropping vistas, new experiences and a blissful retreat from the busy world well well beyond Loreto. The... More

Spent three amazing days at Loreto. Thanks to Alejandro, who looked after us, we saw a great deal of this extraordinary peninsula. Penguins, sea lions, guanaco, merino sheep and cattle. If you are lucky and come later in the year you might even see whales. Loreto is a very comfortable lodge, beautifully run by Alejandro and Mathias. Rooms comfortable, ample... More

This was a truly incredible experience. We had amazing access to private beaches all along the Peninsula. The activities were many and varied. Our kids kayaked among the whales, snorkled with sea lions, went fishing for salmon, walked among the penguins and more. All of these activities were within an hour from the lodge and we were able to do... More

We recently had an amazing 3 night stay at Loreto Lodge. Alejandro's family owns a large farm and he has built this lodge to allow tourists to visit many unique sites on the Peninsula Valdez. Much of the peninsula is privately owned, and so it helps to stay on a big estancia because you have access to many private locations.... More

My mother, brother and I spent four fantastic days at Loreto Lodge. Luciano, Ernesto and Alejandro were brilliant hosts. The food was delicious, the rooms were very comfortable and best of all were the activities: Alejandro has an excellent knowledge of Valdes and its fabulous wildlife, he knows all the best places to visit and we had a huge amount... Alejandro and his staff were great hosts. The views and land were breathtaking and the wild life and horse back riding were great. Swimming with the sea lions is a must do ! The penguin/elephant seal walk was a special experience. The food was simple but delicious. My whole family loved our time here and we will be back.

We stayed a couple of years ago, coming from Greece. It was recommended to us by some Argentinian friends. The place, location wise is spectacular!!! Animals and nature in all its glory. The lodge itself couldn't be more comfortable and elegant. Food was more than delicious. About our hosts, there are not enough words to describe the degree of hospitality,... More
