The room was clean and the receiving staff were very helpful and friendly. I just had a miscommunication with this old lady in the kitchen. I asked if she can boil food for my lunchbox which she gladly did. But turned sour when she misunderstood it and charged me $200ar. I gave the money right away to avoid an argument. But it’s not about the money. It was her bad attitude. She shouldn’t work in hospitality. It’s a regret for me to write this negative review given that everything else was alright. But as they say, positive experiences are forgotten with just one unpleasant experience.
Lovely welcome on arrival and the rooms are a good size and comfortable. Breakfast buffet was nicely laid out with the eating area and tables well spaced. Within a short walking distance of the sea front, shops and many excellent restaurants. Due to the 4km distance a taxi (which is reasonably priced) is needed to get to the museum (opens at 5pm) with information and exhibits about the arrival of the first Welsh settlers. The curator who speaks Welsh, Spanish, and good English is extremely knowledgeable. Nearby are also landmarks so it’s well worth a visit and the curator will organise a taxi back to town. Of all the hotels we stayed in during our month in South America we liked this one very much. The ambience and everything about it made us feel good and for what you get the price is very reasonable.…
We had a triple room that was quite large for us. The hotel is a short walk to the waterfront for dining and shopping and most available services. Breakfast was plentiful and we loved having eggs, bacon and sausage available. We were able to get an early breakfast one morning when we had an early tour pickup. Everything in the hotel was clean and modern. The staff were very helpful with questions. Wifi wasn't always the best in the room but it worked great down in the lounge area off the lobby.
Very well appointed hotel with contemporary furnishings in the large and well lighted common areas. Included breakfast was of very good quality for the usual standards of South America where breakfast is not cultivated. Very attentive staff with servers and room attendants dressed in attractive uniforms. Fruit is left in the room in the evenings, the lady who brought ours also showed us the stairs to the terrace where one can observe whales with binoculars. There is covered self parking for a reasonable fee. Central location close to many restaurants and businesses. Our room was very large with two very comfortable double beds, very good linens and a very modern large bathroom. Very good choice in central Puerto Madryn.
The hotel is excellent, Staff very professional and polite, the rooms have be refitted brand new and very spacious. Bathrooms, new, clean and spacious. The hotel and the city are very safe. The owner and in every little detail, decoration, signs, the employees'' uniforms, everything is so neat. Te breakfast and restaurant are well served, lots of choices and attentive staff. Is an example of an organization were everybody respects the policy.
