There have been better times for this hotel but it is still in acceptable shape. The rooms have a real closet, with doors and plenty of hangers, there is a bath tube and the restrooms have real people dimensions. There is a bar and the surrounding area is decorated with dark wood, old style, very nice. The staff is excellent,...

must commend the staff, which was very nice, specifically Gustavo who was up and about at all hours and in every part of the hotel. the hotel itself could use an update, it's a bit like you walked onto the set of a 1950's Argentinean film set in San Martin. Shower had good ( great) pressure, room was a bit...

The place was just very old and rundown!! I found another place two blocks away that was much newer and nicer and the same price!! Hint...village...

Hotel is very well located and specially has very good rates too. Seems a bit old but I really does not care about it. It has a nice living room in the 1st floor so you can enjoy a drink or just relax in front of the fireplace. Food in the breakfast is good serving fruits, juices, coffee amd milk...

We spent two nights here. It's comfortable and friendly. It's a bit of a stroll to the lake and if you plan to hike up to the Mirador. It's just a couple of blocks from the Che Guevara Museum The rooms are fairly small and the evenings can be a little noisy with the park just opposite. Good buffet breakfasts...

Hotel Caupolican is an unpretentious and comfortable old-world hotel in San Martin. Hallways are a bit cramped and lighting tends to the dim side, but the rooms are comfortable and the hotel reminds me of hotels in Bavaria. Breakfast is great - hug buffet with great offereings. Wi-Fi is available. Very good value.

This hotel was FANTASTIC! The breakfast was incredible. The rooms were large, clean, and comfortable -- a total bargain. The location can't be beat, right downtown and across from the Havana Cafe. The owners and staff were very friendly, making our group feel like family. The sauna, ping-pong table, and other amenities were also top-notch and very much appreciated by...
