If you plan to go to Bariloche and want to discover one of Argentina's way of life (in huge & natural spaces, lakes all around you while backpacking) we strongly advice you Norma & Roberto's house where you will find a warm welcoming, excellent home-made food & cultural memories sharing. Enjoy your stay !

We stayed at Melipal for 5 nights. Norma arranged a remise taxi to collect us from the airport which I would recommend. Norma and her family are very friendly and made us feel very welcome. The property is in an excellent location for visiting the main tourist attractions in the area. It is located about 4km from the town centre... More

Norma and Antonio are the cutest, kindest hosts we've ever stayed with! They helped us so much with our stay at Bariloche and with planning the rest of our journey to the Lake District, even though we don't speak Spanish and they speak little English. Norma is really dedicated to her guests, making sure we knew all the places to... More

We stayed at Melipal for 4 nights and arrived in Bariloche at the same time as a very unexpected snow fall but received a really warm welcome from Norma, Alberto, Martin & their nephew. I can only echo what others reviews have said about staying at Melipal - Norma loves cooking and produces very delicious breakfasts with lots of cake... More

Norma, Alberto and Martin went out of their way to make us feel at home in their beautiful home with picture windows over the lake and mountains beyond. Norma prides herself on her cooking - everything from strudel, home made bread for breakfast delicious "just out of the oven" biscuits packed into our packs to see us on our way.... More

This is a very welcoming family home. Whilst we never ate dinner there, the breakfast is fabulous and far too substantial to be finished. Norma is very proud of Bariloche (rightly so) and will tell you the best places to try the local beer and buy chocolate (a local speciality). The views are also great. Martine, Norma and Albert´s son,... More

Melipal B&B is the family’s house of the most adorable Argentinean family. Our room, the bed and the bathroom was very comfortable (the best sleep we had in all Argentina) and clean. We had a view on the lake and the mountains. The owners of the house, Norma and Alberto, made everything possible to make our stay unforgettable. Norma’s cook... More

My wife and I have lived in Argentina for about 4 months now. This was our first trip to Bariloche and first time staying at a Bed & Breakfast. My sister-in-law and a friend came with us, so there were 4 of us altogether. We learned about Melipal through Trip Advisor, and they exceeded our expectations in every way. From... More

As a solo adventurer, I was looking to stay with a family who would be opening up their home to travelers. My expectations were greatly exceeded. Norma, Alberto, and their son Martin were warm and inviting; and as interested in my experience with their town and surroundings as though I were part of their family. They seemed well plugged in,...
