very loving staff, the breakfast simply amazing (self made bread) and in general very laid back! at christmas they made an asado for us, mostly the staff are also travelers, which makes the whole atmosphere amazing!

The staff consist of Argentine owners with French and Brazilian staff. They are all great to hang out and add a bit of cozyness to Bariloche. There are nice wooden benches and the wooden bowls for the jam and dulce de leche. The hostel is not located in the city center but only about 3-4 blocks from the main street....

Liked: Breakfast, location, good beds, spacious rooms and vibe. Disliked: Not enough bathrooms and electricity plugs in the room. Staff did not show us around and told us there was no restaurant open anymore late when we arrived, but when walking around town more restaurants were open than closed.

Achalay was one of the best hostels we stayed at in Argentina. It was very clean & the rooms were reasonably priced. The staff were all very helpful & friendly. It was in a quiet location close to the centre of town. They provided a good breakfast which included fruit & home-made bread. It had free Wi-Fi. Altogether an excellent...

This hostel in Bariloche is very cool. Stayed here 5 nights and loved it. It's quite small but it is has great staff who are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are all named after famous rock bands/artists. I was in the Jimi Hendrix room complete with purple drapes, duvet and walls. Very cool. Giant lockers for all your bags...

Achalay - we came to Achalay Hostel in Bariloche, a little disenchanted from the busy streets of Buenos Aires and tired of the busy life back home in Europe. We sought nature, mountains, lakes, open skies - space to let the mind wonder - and a place to meet people, to hear people's stories, their true stories...in Achalay we found...

Won't take too much rating the generals because they have it all covered and there might be many reviews speaking about them (location, cleaning, utilities all.... good, very good!) I would like to say what is different about this hostel and why I can consider it to be one of my top experiences regarding hostels. It is all about the...

The hostel is well priced, with comfy beds and a great communal area. The best thing about it for me were the staff. The staff themselves are mainly people travelling and are really helpful with things to do in Bariloche but also in the rest of Argentina. Me and my mates had a great time hanging out with the staff...

This hostel was a great place to stay. The boys who work here are awesome, full of knowledge and always willing to help. Great location, safe, comfortable. Breakfast very good, it's served until late which is great!!! They also put on dinner every few nights which is tasty and cheap. Could do with a couple of new shower heads though....
