Location is not bad like some people said. It´s close to the bus stop and in a nice quiet place. The hostel is great, Javier and all the staff, and , even if I was very lucky to find gret people here, is the ideal hostel to meet people and relax with them. Great kitchen, nice breakfats and very clean....

The guys who run this hostel are very friendly and helpful, they know a lot about hiking options in Bariloche. The room was clean, beds/mattresses are comfortable. The dorm (6 bed) is next to the kitchen and sitting area, it can get very noisy at night. The hostel is approx. 30 min away from the bus terminal and 20 min...

I stayed 4 nights in this amazing hostel in Bariloche. This hostel attracts a mixed crowd of backpackers and couples. Not a party crowd at all, everybody is cooks at night, drinks a wine or tea, and goes to sleep around 00:30. The owners are both very nice and are super helpful, they make you feel very comfortable and welcome....

Alaska is a nice hostel, but could be much better. The bathrooms are in desperate need of replacing for example and some of the rooms are a bit dull and could do with a lick of paint / new sheets etc. This did not ruin our trip though. The staff are very helpful although not around very much. If you...

My boyfriend and I stayed at Alaska Hostel for a week in March 2010 during our 3 month adventure in Argentina. It was our favourite hostel of the entire trip. The couple who run this hostel are friendly, helpful and fun. We were given so much information about Bariloche in the first moments of arrival we were able to plan...

The couple who run this place helped make our stay in Bariloche really memorable. For the money we paid the 'service' we got was amazing! We called around quite a few places the morning of our flight to Bariloche, but as it was the week before christmas the whole town seemed to be totally booked out. By the time we...

I've researched & booked my own hostel reservations. I'[ve been to the Spenard Hostel and the IYH hostel in downtown anchorage. as well as most along the inside passage and the ones in the Kenai Peninsula. All are different and accomodations are varied as well. I have no complaints about any. All are safe & clean and cheap. These places...
