Cocooned away from the dust, dogs and crowds of Bariloche. Excellent, helpful staff. Concierge organised horse riding, white water rafting and hiking. Pay a bit extra for corner suite on top floor. View of lake, sunrise and stunning gardens are worth it. Pool, gym spa were very good. In the restaurant the specialty of the house was off for 3...

Dear guest, Thank you very much for your beautiful review about our "cocoon". We are very happy knowing that you enjoyed so much our facilities by the lake, the excursions that our staff recommended and the nice views from your room window. Nahuel Corner Suites are delightful, and I hope you also liked the artist whose paintings were on the...

El casco is in the category of the prestigious Relais et Chateaux hotel chain. Unique attention to architecture and decoration details, coupled with great location and attentive service. Secluded and private. Great experience altogether.

My partner and I come to Bariloche all the time on business, so we've stayed a many hotels in the area over the past 5 years. This is by far, the nicest hotel that we've stayed in. The service was excellent; the grounds were gorgeous; our room was spacious and clean decorated in dark wood and very valuable pieces of...

We stayed here for 2 nights in December. We enjoyed it very much & would stay here again. The hotel has a lovely lakeside situation, with views stretching out over the water from the 2nd floor lake view rooms; these are most definitely worth it, in fact I wouldn't stay here again unless I could get one (we originally booked...

Try to get a room on the second floor and lake view! the restaurant food is excellent for dinner... wine selection decent. the rooms are so tranquil. the workout area is small and claustrophobic. pool is small but it's a pool! there isn't a lot to do on site so if you want more amenities then probably stay at llau...

a very elegant hotel on the lake, with works of art that add pleasure to the relax given by the beautiful location. My only suggestion is that the hotel doesn't serve American coffee by default, but ask whether a person prefers, e.g., an espresso

After a difficult decision to stay at El Casco Art Hotel instead of the famous Llau Llau Hotel (the one hotel that everyone thinks of first) in the Beriloche (lake region) area of Argentina, I can't begin to relay my elation and gratefulness. The hotel had the best, friendly, and most helpful staff, an impeccable decor throughout, an excellent gourmet...

Beautifully appointed rooms magnificently set directly overlooking the lake with splendid views. Pleasant service. Lovely though not extensive grounds. Nice heated swimming pool with plenty of sunbeds and towels. Small drawback that the pool was geared more for indoor than outdoor access. Altogether a wonderful place for a restful stay. We found the bus transport reasonably good.

We stayed here for 2 nights in the off season when the rates were lower. Our room had a patio that overlooked the lake. There were only a few other guests so it was very quiet-we had the spa to ourselves every afternoon. The staff was very nice and helpful. The gym was fine and the spa was nice as...

Fantastic location and great hotel. Just beware of reception staff. Arrived tired on Christmas eve with 3 teenagers to be told that the only food we could have was 5 x $180 set menus. No, room service would be impossible. No, we won't find any other restaurants locally. We could go into town but we'd never get a taxi back...
