Stayed here for five nights, price was $514.25 USD and $647 AUD, based on price and facilities and quality of stay i would not recommend it. The hotel is family run, the family is quite friendly however they do not speak english and way of communication was through google translate. the location is about 40 minutes walk from el calafate...

Our tour company stayed at this hotel on our way to El Chalten. We would have led a revolt if it had been more than one night. Driving up to the hotel it looks like the architecture was inspired by an architect from the former Soviet Union. Very basic is an understatement for this hotel. Inside the hotel it shows...

This place is in a middle of nowhere and has no shuttle. Unless you have a car, have no choice, or are forced into this “hotel” – avoid it! We got stuck here for 1 night by the agency. You have to take a taxi (to be called by a front desk) to get anywhere near civilization, food, etc. Taxi...

Good value. The area is not finished yet, just as the hotel. We had a perfect relaxing stay though and it will be a perfect spot when...

This hotel is located on the outskirts of the town and is a good 25-35 minute walk to town, but it is well worth it. From our window on the first floor we had the perfect view of the lake with lots of different birds. It is quite and peaceful. The rooms are clean and fresh. We found the beds...
