This hostel is family run, the woman you will meet upon checking in during the afternoon is very helpful and will even draw you a nice little map with all points of interest for you. The hostel can also help set up some tour packages for you. There is a fully equipped kitchen in the basement so you can store... More

Nice location in El Calafate! We stayed here for three nights in total. After the first night we went to Torres del Paine for three nights, leaving our luggage in the hostel wasn't a problem. Nice big kitchen where you can cook your own meals. The staff was really helpfull and friendly. Big plus is the laundry service (you the... More

We spent here 4 nights in the double room with private bathroom. The biggest advantage of this hostel is the amazing view. It is located on a small hill, close to the center but far enough to enjoy the quiet. The room was clean and nice decorated. You can use the kitchen and all staff there, when you want to... More

We had a nice stay here after trekking Torres del Paine in Patagonia. Comfortable rooms, nice views, good breakfast and kitchen available to all guests. Easy walk to downtown with all the tourist shopping and restaurants.

The hostel is well located, a short walk uphill from main street and bus station. My first impression was great: plain room, but all you need and a private bathroom with a bathtub. But the next morning, we noticed there is no ventilation in the bathroom, and a strong bad smell came along with the humidity caused by a hot... More

The staff were friendly enough, but I expect a bit more for US$62/night (private room with own bathroom) than what this hostel offers. No hot water, that was annoying. A breakfast consisting of slices of dry, stale bread was a bit strange, not sure what that was all about. My room was old and a bit dingy, but surprisingly, the... More

The view from the window was the only thing I liked in this place. The room was old styled, with very strong smell (not a good one) Also the bed sheets and the closet have the same smell (and it has sticked to our clothes after that). The room is not so clean, with old unclear carpet on the floor.... More

Extremely pleasant host ! We booked this hostel based on reviews on hostels.com. Although some 15 minutes away from the high street (by foot) (which can be tiring after a day of hiking), views from the restaurant were amazing and seemed clear and friendly when we arrived. Turns out there was a problem with water in our room and the... More

What a find!!! To stay in a double room with ensuite bathroom for hostel prices. It is beautifully situated on top of the hill. I think it has been a hotel before and therefore you find all amenities that you would find in a 3* hotel. the lobby is big and spacious. The breakfast room (as well as our room)... More

We loved this place - both the town / surrounding area and the hotel. In 12 months of travelling the Americas, Natalia was the most warm and informative host. She managed to strike the perfect balance, being helpful without being pushy or stifling us. She's a gem! The hotel is great value for money and despite what other reviewers have... More
