A most enjoyable stay at a comfortable Hosteria . Rooms admittedly on the smaller size but comfortable bed. Characterful place - Bruno at Reception was particularly helpful. We enjoyed the option of eating in which we chose to do on a couple of nights and free afternoon tea on the small veranda was a nice touch.

Lots of nice touches to make this hotel peaceful and pretty. Good common areas. Wonderful restaurant. Walking distance to downtown and to the Laguna Nimez nature preserve for birding. Friendly, helpful staff. So much nicer than a big hotel. This is our favorite of 3 hotels we have stayed in at El Calafate. The area has a beach town feel....

The hotel is located at the edge of town, close to the lake. It is quiet. The room was clean, spacious with comfortable bed. Breakfast was good - they have self-baked pastry, bread, etc... There is a nice restaurant in the hotel - nothing special, just good food :)

Stayed 3 nights over the course of a week as we went off on excursions to other areas in between each stay. The rooms are comfortable but a bit on the small side when luggage is strewn about as you prepare for excursions. Last night was in a room that needed some work though. Bathroom fan was not working and...

The hotel is located on the edge of town, in a quiet neighbourhood close to the lake. The town centre is around 15 minutes walk away, although as we had a car we tended to drive instead. Our room was comfortable, although fairly basic, and was located in the annexe next door. My only complaint was that when the people...

Located on the edge of town near the water and bird sanctuary. A short walk to the main streets with shopping and restaurants. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Rooms are small but adequate for our needs... Comfy bed, clean, cozy. Breakfast is good and the traditional offerings... Cheese, ham, toast, coffee, juice, fruit.

The personal is very friendly. The rooms are ok, but could be better. There are two pillows you can choose from, but both are same size. I slept on my travel pillow since the ones from the hotel were too thick. The breakfast is basic. They however do not have enough capacity when the whole hotel comes for breakfast at...

Near the water, and away from the centre and all the touristy places, it is a lovely little place. Rooms are modest but clean and comfortable, staff is nice, breakfast has home-made jams and breads and cakes. It is about a 15 minute walk from the centre.

Stayed here for two nights as we were coming through El Calafate on a trip through Patagonia. The staff were extremely friendly and helped us out with our plans for our two days in the area. The owner spoke great English as well. Rooms were a good size and very clean. Wifi was on the better end on what we've...
