Admittedly we stayed in the best room - the Pullman suite - but in general we found this to be a very characterful and attractive hotel. Don't be put off by the corrugated iron cladding, everything in the hotel is recycled, retro and mainly wood. The colours in the rooms and public spaces are nice and warm. The staff (especially...

My son and I enjoyed our stay at the Patagonia Rebelde. The staff was very helpful and spoke excellent English. The breakfast provided excellent variety and the bag lunches were convenient. The lobby was more like a living room. Very comfortable and felt like home. Relaxing and quiet. Easy walking distance to the town center.

As someone commented earlier, it's a marmite hotel! The first impressions of its location are awful! It's not in a pretty place, but very well situated to walk into town. The concept is great, completely rebuilt from a disused railway station, but consequently a bit shaky and noisy in the wind, and a few quirky disorders i.e. Leaking radiators! That...

This was definitely the only dud during our trip to Patagonia. The place is an old restored train station and filled with so many antiques. It was like they obtained every relic from that era and stuffed it in the main room. So much clutter was overwhelming that it lost importance. Our room was on the second floor and of...

This was a substitute for our tour company's normal hotels and we loved it. But others might not appreciatsome disinfectant down the drains, but we were into the spirit of teh place and that didn't offend as it might elsewhere.e it. It is a living museum of old Argentina, stuffed with old antiques. But not just with them lying about...

We got pregnant, and had to cancel part of our honeymoon and they didn't understand! We canceled a few days beforehand, and they charged us the whole stay as a cancellation fee. We called Booking.com and they tried to reason with the manager- i think her name was Lucy? they said they had many cancellations so they were not going...

The Patagonia Rebelde is a must stop if at Calafate! Great place to have a quiet time! This hotel is a very special place to be; its old train station ambience makes you travel through time. I love how the management takes care of every detail during your stay, they are always available for passengers. I shouldn’t forget to mention...

Adorable hotel. The location is a bit out of the town but great to avoid the crowds. The staff are very nice and the breakfast was great! The calafate jam in the morning was particularly tasty :) a bit noisy by the stairs.

By the time we arrived to the hotel, we loved it. It is designed like a train station with all its amazing details! Then you enter the hotel and it feels warm and friendly as it is such a country style hotel. The staff is so friendly and they all talk good english. We stayed 4 days and as there...

This hotel is quaint & funky. It is a 5 minute walk down into the main town area, but is easy to do. This is a noisy hotel with squeaky floors but I always use ear plugs, so didn't bother me and I loved the decor. My room was small but adequate and very clean. Service is wonderful and very...
