A cozy, comfortable room with all the proper amenities. King bed with super clean bath. Their spa was complete with sauna, steam and jacuzzi. Nice robes Small workout room. A good breakfast buffet. A nice place to celebrate the end of the world. Good location

The cruise ship companies put all guests here so not much choices are applicable. Its very close to the port and shopping area. Rooms are average. Restaurant service is average. Be prepared to ask for everything including salt and pepper

Having to spend one night in Ushuaia before going on an Antarctic cruise meant staying at the Albatross. It is well located right next to the port, but I can say little else to recommend it. I even had to pay for a cup of tea that I collected from the restaurant and carried back to our room. The room...

As previous reviewers said, this hotel is mostly used by people starting an Antarctic cruise. Therefore they have guaranteed business and don't have to make an effort. The breakfast was a mess, uninspired food not replenished quickly and the dirty plates not cleared away. Only stay here if it is part of your cruise package. It is in a great...

We stayed here for a night prior to boarding a cruise to Antarctica. We arrived an hour before the 2pm check in and we were told to wait the hour - fair enough but the hotel was not busy. Had two rooms - one for our teens - although asking to be next door to one another, we were not...

Where to begin...walls are paper thin so you can hear noise in other rooms and hallway...The bathroom is poorly designed with a shelf that overhangs the bathtub preventing a bath (unless you want a concussion)...Laundry prices are insane ($1.80 to wash a t-shirt)...Staff take forever to clean room (not done by 2pm yesterday)...Unlike every hotel on earth, they won't exchange...

This hotel is a great location if you want to be able to walk around town. It's so close to cafes and shops, the information centre, small tours, the museum, as well as the dock where we would catch our cruise. The Hotel has really helpful staff who were happy to give us directions to the things we wanted to...

The location for the port, town & restaurants is fabulous however, the rooms are hot and noisy, to sleep peacefully is impossible. The breakfast is limited, basic and very canteen like in operation. Disappointing stay.

The room itself was great, everything was clean and the size was fine. I also loved that it was so close to everything. Plus, it was close to the dock and we were there prior to an Antarctica cruise. One thing I didn't like was that the cleaning person used some kind of incense or something to make the room...

The Albatross hotel is well located for it's mostly transient guests. There appeared to be mostly people on tours, about to join a tour or resting before or after a hiking trip. The room was comfortable, the staff pleasant and efficient and the food ok.for a hotel at the end of the world it is ideal.
