Posada Del Fin Del Mundo is a great place to stay in Ushuaia. It is about a 20 minute walk from the city centre and harbour, uphill but not on the steepest streets in town. Probably best to take a taxi there with luggage however. The house is beautiful. The common areas are very comfortable and welcoming. Shared bathrooms are...

Given how expensive Ushuaia is compared to other parts of Argentina, we considered this a great deal. The rooms were modest but well-kept, but we really enjoyed the common areas. It is only a short walk from a grocery store, the port, or the center of town.

Needed a bolt hole for 1 night in Ushuaia & found this great place. All the necessary B&B amenities and the required restrictions as well. Sitting here now dog at my side wishing I wasn't transferring to the 5 star on the hill tomorrow. Such a warm comfortable ambiance- & I'm sharing a bath! Clean, professional helpful staff, the lounge,...

Located a 10 minute walk from the centre of Ushuaia, this is a good option for those wanting to be close to main tourist attractions and restaurants. Decent affordable accommodation is hard to come by in Ushuaia but I would recommend this family run posada/hosteria. The positives are location, friendliness of the owner and staff and the complimentary provision of...

I spent a night at La Posada del Fin Del Mundo with a friend, and I enjoyed how much character the place had. Also, the bathrooms were really nice (which is always a major plus), and the breakfast was good. The only downside was their inability to even help me find a place to do laundry. They'd serve themselves well...

While the photo of the common room accurately depicts a cozy setting, the sleeping rooms are another story as they are quite grim. The wash basin is set into a rotting wooden stand and there is no way to clean it. Don't put down your toothbrush! No hooks on the walls for towels or anything, just holes where the hooks...

Our stay was really nice. The rooms are comfortable and spacious. Bathroom was clean and had good facilities. The breakfast is really good and wel presented. All in all this posada is really good value for money.

Kind staff. The location is not near from the main part of avenida san martin, the main commerce street of Ushuaia. The posada do not offer accessibility neither a good wifi. The good view exists only in the public part of the posada since the rooms are in the first of 4 floors.

I highly HIGHLY recommend this posada! The staff was so kind, the environment was so quaint and sweet, the showers were great, and the breakfast was great. Such a comfortable living situation, I could have stayed for weeks!

On cold days, the common area was a lovely respite from the outside. Our room however, had a very distinctive smell of musty/mold which stuck with us for days afterwards. Glad that our stay here was at the end of the trip as multiple washes were necessary to remove the odor. We also had a minor issue upon check-in in...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
After several years traveling around the world, finally I arrived to Ushuaia, my land, where I´ve been living for the last 25 years.Since the first day in this charming place, people started coming to me, because of my profesion, my studies, because of my friends or for my adorable sons, who gave personality to this house. If you visit our home, you will be a special guest and you will be part of this marvelous world full of fantasy and lots of human stories, that we call Posada del Fin del Mundo. Certainly you will want to be part of this story that has no end. Ushuaia is the southernmost city in the world. It is located south of the Isla Grande de Tierra del Fuego. One of the most beautifull places to discover. This small, but incredible city, year after year is the destiny of thousands of people who come here looking for nature and adventure, furthermore Ushuaia is also peace, a quiet spot and the door to one of the most fantastic landscapes: Antarctica. ... more   less
