The hotel is located in the center of the city of banos, immersed in a nice garden. Our group occupied 7 rooms. Some of them had the essential but others were too small and with small and not well maintained bathrooms. The price was to high for the level of the rooms and for the Ecuadorian standards (50$ for a room). The Lady who own the hotel was nice and always with a smile on her face. Breakfast was good enough.
In busy and noisy Baños a straight forward and clean quiet retreat in central location, surrounded by a green garden with excellent price/performance ratio. Charming old House, nice veranda, on a colder day the fire place is lit during the breakfast while plenty of hot coffee & milk, jugos, huevos revoltas and pan is served, all included. Double room 16$ pp. Family will assist in all enquiries. Bus to waterfalls leaves in front of house. Most recommended
We visited Baños in order to compete at Petzl Trail running competition. We stayed at the Pedron with a group of friends and it was Ok. Clean bedrooms, clean bathroom. The owner of the hostel was really nice.
- location is great, very quiet - but still only 3 blocks away from the party street with all bars and restaurants - breakfast is delicious, nice warm bread with butter and jam, egg to your choice, coffee as much as you want and fresh juice - owners are very nice people - laundry service
It's one of the few places that has mature gardens, big trees, and a classy atmosphere. It has fabulous service, and is in a very central location. The Donna and staff were very respectful, nice, and attentive. The breakfast was perfect and the space was peaceful. Our room had high quality sheets, lovely windows, and a stunning view. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for beauty, class, and good people.
