Myself and some friends stayed at the Meraki last week while traveling in Banos. The hotel is very clean and the staff is very accommodating. We had no issues. Since you are in the heart of the city, it does tend to be very loud, especially at night. But that did not affect our stay. The breakfast is good, usually bread and eggs/ coffee and juice. Great place and super affordable!

My review would have been a 3 and a half. I've just come back from 10 days here and really enjoyed it there is a few issues that I spoke to the management about and hopefully on my return they will have those problems sorted out.I would just like to mention the chap on the beach that serve alcohol and soft drinks by the slides he doesn't stop at all, he doesn't walk to serve you he runs, very helpful and polite as all the stuff are.New block no views, fish restaurant?Animation team struggle as the pools are freezing, outside the hotel is a eye opener and entrance to the hotel is not what you want to be dropped of at.

This place is such a great place right in the middle of town. We got into Baños around 5am and they got up to get us checked in. The rooms were huge, beds comfy, and water hot!! We were off bright and early so we didnt eat much breakfast there, 1 day, and it was also really nice. They have laundry service which was amazing since are shoes and clothes were all wet from our excursions. Dont pass this place up, its cozy!!

I can’t speak Spanish but the receptionist could speak English so it was good for me. Inside of the hotel and room was clean. Thanks to the hotel, I had a great time in Baños.

After having actually checked out more than half a dozen hotels in Banos, Meraki Hotel was the only hotel that actually felt like it had an actual hotel lobby with a front counter staff that spoke good English. I stayed in Banos for a total of four nights and got to know the staff better. Their staff were all very friendly, helpful, and very accommodating of any requests. Having picked up a really nasty virus in the Amazon jungle tour on the last day of my checkout, I got physically immobilized and really weak. The staff really cared for my well-being and did everything they could to ensure that my stay at Banos was a good one. On top of bringing hot tea and other amenities as a room service, they were also able to make some calls on their end and organize a cheap car shuttle directly from the hotel all the way back to Quito airport (UIO) for $35 USD. This is a steal especially given the time and cost savings for transportation during ungodly midnight hours. I recommend travellers to stay at the Single Room, which is exactly what is shown in the picture, minus the wine bottle of course. It is the only hotel I've seen that has a room with king size bed and comes with the feeling of a penthouse suite, but at a fraction of the cost. Highly recommended to all!
