I arrived before the check in time and asked if there is a free room for one night. The guy at the reception said yes and told me that my room is already free. I asked him if I have to pay for one night only and he agreed. At check out it turned out that he charged me an...

Hello, thanks for your review. yes you arrive here 4:30 am. yes you ask me and i told you, because the arrival time you need pay a night, for sure. finally you spend 3 three nights total here, and you want to pay only one, i dont think your experience was bad here if you spend more than a night....

Had a great time at Timara. One of their staff, Sebastian, was very helpful in arranging a bike rental, bridge jumping and providing general information on the area and things to check out. Very flexible with checkout too, which was enormously helpful. Rooms are small but very good value considering the price. Would definitely recommend for any backpackers coming through.

Good cheap place with comfy beds, super friendly staff (and guests), relaxed feeling overall, good location, free water, OK breakfast and hot showers. A little noisy and small rooms but nothing extreme.

Great little hostel with a new owner, Bruno who is super helpful. I didn't want to leave this place as it was really easy to meet people but it wasn't a party hostel. It is in the middle of a makeover but it didn't really affect my stay. They provided a great breakfast and occasionally throw a dinner for everybody...

I stayed here 2 nights. Bruno, the new owner, was at the terminal when I got off the bus and coolly asked if I wanted to check out the hostel. It was clean, relaxed vibe, friendly guests, and Bruno was sooo nice and helpful. They provided delicious breakfast and coffee and had advice for any of our questions. Great place!

A very basic hostel, nothing fancy, just a room, but clean and for that price unbeatable. Close to the center of the city, surprisingly fast wifi and a kitchen that could be cleaner, but for setting up a bowl of cereal it works. No real community area though, so for those who just want a cheap place to sleep this...

Donna and Susy were really helpful during my stay. The senor of the hostel guarded my passport but I don't actually think it was necessary - though it gave me piece of mind. He also gave me great recommendations for breakfast (Rico Pan & Cafe Ali Cumba). Recomendacion!

Great wifi! We stayed here 5 nights in a double room with shared bath. Loved the central location and the well-equipped kitchen. Walking distance to the bus station, grocery store, and sights. Very pleased with the fast wifi and the friendly staff. Highly recommended for backpackers on a budget!

Really nice little hostel. Stayed here while it rained a lot so it was a nice place to relax. Staff and friendly and the shower was roasting hot! Made it easier to do things in the rain having that to come back to! We did get a little chilly at night so ask for an extra blanket.
