Nomada was a pretty awesome spot to spend a few nights in Baños! We really enjoyed it for the location, price, cleanliness and peace and quiet. The owner let us check in when we arrived on the 6am bus from Lago Agrio and was really nice about showing up with no reservation at such an early hour. She also did...

The room was a good size two full size beds and a full private bath. All for just $8 a person. The deal of a lifetime. Staff was very friendly and had lots of information and pamphlets on where to go and what to do. I highly recommend them!

Was kindly greeted by a lady who escorted me to a room at around 1 am in the night. I had my own room, and bathroom although there were several other empty beds in the room, and I paid $6 per night. There was a nice kitchen, and a beautiful balcony on the roof. For $6 a night, I didn't...

I hate to write a bad review, but this place was pretty bad. Timing could be it, as they promptly started construction at like 7 AM (not good for guys that go out past midnight). We got to hear jackhammers, hammers, yelling, dogs barking, random things being thrown around, a tornado mixed with a hurricane - or at least it...

Aesthetically looking, this is a really nice hostel. Nice rooms, big kitchen, quick Wifi. However, that's unfortunately where the compliments end. My girlfriend and I woke up in the middle of the night to find the floor saturated as the toilet was leaking (apparently a small cup underneath the crack in the pipe was the solution as it had clearly...

We booked based on price, so I suppose you get what you pay for. The staff did let us check in early, but we're unable to give us a map or directions to get to even basic locations. I speak Spanish but that did not seem to help. The rooms are clean and the wifi is good. On our second...

Pros: lovely and helpful staff (specially Miria, who I guess is the owner) and they have a sweet beautiful siberian husky called Max. The hostal is located right across the street from the bus terminal, every room has private shower, has a good kitchen, the room and beds are fine, offers you tours. Cons: showers will not stay warm for...

Staying here ruined my stay in Baños - the owners/staff spoke no English and made absolutely no effort when I attempted to communicate in my very broken Spanish. The wifi was unreliable. The area and the hostel itself was ridiculously noisy. Definitely do not recommend this place. :(
