I spent a few days here while visiting Banos and the Amazon Rainforest. The staff was very helpful and accomadating. They serve a contintental breakfast in the morning up until 10AM which is great. The breakfast usually includes fresh eggs and a fabulous fresh yougurt they put on the fruits. The location is very close to the bus terminal and... More

We originally booked this hotel for just a couple nights but liked it so much that we ended up staying for five. The room was lovely with large windows and a balcony overlooking a peaceful garden. The location of the hotel itself is far enough out of the center of town to relax but still within walking distance to the... More

We got to town a day ahead of schedule and found out a big fiesta was going on in town, but Christian had two rooms available for us! We really enjoyed the place and would have preferred to stay there instead of where we had reservations a block away! We were taken great care of! We hadn't met the owner... More

We stayed here while in Baños with my family. We rented out a total of 5 rooms ranging from single to quadruple beds. Although Baños can get cold it wasn't cold enough to keep the room comfortable without having to open the door ( our windows did not open) which let the bugs in. Bed were beyond hard, pillows were... This is a safe and centrally located traveller's hotel where you will meet loads of interesting people. Our room was clean and spacious and had a great view of the waterfall. We compared prices and found this to be excellent value.

Arrived with my family, and spend a few sweet days in Baños. The hostel is just beautiful, basically a flowery garden with humming birds and two hairless Peruvian doggies (Huáscar and Capulina). The staff is kind and attentive, breakfast is rich and the owner, Christian, is a very interesting character. He was also helpful with activities in Baños. Christian's daughter... More

I came to Isla de Banos after a rotten experience at the Hotel Dusseldorf (NOISY! Curtains that didn't fit the windows making it as bright as day, and water covering 1/4 of the bathroom floor--when the water had never been turned on--and the possibility of slippery falls. And a manager that refused to refund my money for the remaining 2... More

Isla de Baños is a very charming and covenient hotel, just five minutes by foot from the center of Baños. I would say it is an ideal place for relaxing as it is quiet and surrounded by a wonderful green garden. The staff is very kind and the service is very good. Breakfast is included, but it is worth to... More

My husband and I spent the night of July 20th in this lovely jungle-like hideaway just a short walk from the hot springs and the waterfall. We had been traveling on buses to see Ecuador and had stopped in towns that were unattractive and noisy. When we entered our large, comfortably furnished room and saw the fabulous view from our...
