We loved staying at the beach in our fales. One of our mosquito nets had a few holes in it but we patched this up with tape and stayed mosquito free. It was great fun snorkelling around the reef at high tide - we saw lots of tropical fish and some regenerating coral in places. At low tide it's still...

It took us so long to find a great place in Samoa. After 7 days in Upolu we luckily decided to go Savaii and ended up stayed the last seven days of our trip at Reginas. If you dont mind staying in a fale thats THE place. Cheap, amazing location with fales literally over the ocean (dont forget earplugs, the...

Sleeping in a beach fale is great, open sides, only a mosquito net between you and the night breeze, sounds of the sea, it's one of the highlights of any trip to Samoa. Regina's is very friendly, basic backpacker level, communal toilet and shower block, cold water (but you really don't need hot showers in Samoa), good local food and...

Stayed at Regina Fales for the 2nd time in a year. The place is as great as ever. Clean facilities, traditional fales right on the beach. Turtles came swimming within meters of the beach every high tide and my son loved snorkeling with them. Great chef, wholesome local food, warm and welcoming family who go out of their way to...

We arrived at Regina's on the recommendation of another traveller on Savai'i and they weren't wrong! Without a booking, within minutes the fale was ready and we were given cold water and fruit. The fales are basic but roomy and we had the ocean underneath our bed. The grass is nice instead of having to track sand through your mattress...

This was our favourite place to stay in all our time in Samoa! We absolutely loved the open fales, right on the beach. In the late afternoon we would lounge in our fale, watching turtles swimming in the ocean metres from our door. The family who run the place are all so friendly. When we arrived we were greeted with...

WE would like to thank Jucinda and family for making our stay so brilliant. We spent three nights here and were included in family lunches and a trip to church. My wife even received a Mothers day gift. This is a great family run place - simple and good value.

I had no reservation and told the taxi driver to take me to the first place with a fale on the beach. So happy I made it here. Was given a place on the beach, had dinner with fresh fish cooked, instructed to do any shopping immediately as shops would be closed for Sunday (useful information). It was last stop...

We travelled around the whole of Savai'i and Upolu and this was the best Fale we came across. The food was traditional Samoa style, heaps of banana pancakes and fresh fruit for breakfast with refreshing lemon grass tea harvested from their own plantation. Dinner varied from Roast pork to Oka (Fresh fish marinated in lemon and coconut). It says a...
